hey there mr. high horse/pony.

why should anyone listen to you? just wondering why anyone should care....i mean except for the unintentional comedy you bring with your tirades and "drafting a WR in the first is dumb" message you've been apparently led by the gods to preach.

Koolkatluke is upset huddlers aren't in awe of his opinions, so he's taking his ball and going home.

I don't care if you're in awe of my opinion. I thought you would have realize that by now. All I care about is sharing it don't really care if you agree with it.

Who's the average prospect? NFL advisory board and NFL.com Scouts are calling Patterson one of the better WR's to come out of the past few drafts. He's also considered a top ten player who if he stayed another year would be a top 3 guy. He's every bit compared to Jones and AJ talent wise by those for the NFL.

They told him to stay another year to be a top 3 pick, but he went with information that he was a top 15 lock this draft with a possibility of being top 10. This information is based on Team scouts.

I'll go off of their information before anyone else.

Unless you're picking really high or willing deal aggressively to try to move up, I don't think you can ever say "we're gonna draft THIS position in the 1st round". You just have to wait and see how the draft plays itself out.

With that said, if we don't pick OL, DT, WR, or DB in the 1st, I'm gonna be pissed. I think our 1st rounder should be the BPA out of those positions.

Patterson is no where near the prospect AJ green or Julio Jones were.

Plain and Simple is any team in the top 3 considering drafting him like Aj Green? NO!!

Is any team willing to trade 5 picks for him like Atl did for Julio?? NO!!

Would you trade 5 picks to get Patterson???

Patterson wouldn't be the top WR in last year draft.

No team has ever choose a WR with 46 rec. 778 yards and 5 td as his college stats in the first round. No team has ever drafted a WR this raw with this little big time college exp. in the top 20.

Patterson is battling with a slot wr for the top spot. No other "elite prospect at wr" did that.

In a good WR' year he would be a 2nd round pick. This draft doesn't have a elite WR just a lot of depth at the position. There is not a for sure number 1 wr in this draft even the other people who want a wr will admit that.

    • My long and rambling post:   The guy is all heart, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he came back even better next year. He’s exactly the guy you lock up. The money won’t ever change the way he plays.  It was a big fumble, but what 1,000 yard back fumbles once in an entire season?  Pride. This team is FINALLY seeing guys who obviously take the game very seriously. Hunt, Chuba, Thielen, Brown, Horn (CB), Coker, Bryce (IMHO). Bye bye, Spider-Man. I don’t see these dudes being OK with teammates half-assing practice or in games. I can see Brown and Horn coming over to talk to somebody.  Good team? Ummm, maybe, but will still likely lose more close games than they win unless this last draft turns in to LOB part 2. That’s a stretch.  Pretty good/decent team. Yes. They finished the season as a pretty good team. I know I sound like a broken record harping back to it, but going in to ATL and putting a 40 burger on them en route to an OT win. A bad Panthers team would have had their brakes beaten off. We’ve seen it.  Rose colored glasses on and bonging a 40 of hopium: There are watershed moments that occur that change the course of franchises, both good and bad. If Fox doesn’t pull Rodney at halftime, the epic journey that was 2003 never happens. On the negative side, Cam taking that one hit from Watt was the end of any and all Panthers relevancy and we’ve been the biggest losers in all of pro sports as a result. Watershed moments. LOB draft. Vinny goes down and the goat is born.  Will the ATL game be the spark that this franchise has desperately needed? Could it be that they hit the mega million jackpot with Princley and Scourton as eat QBs for breakfast? Sure would be nice having 2 all-pro edge guys on the cheap for the next 4 years.  A lot of unknowns, but at least it actually feels  fun again.
    • Ok LT and Petersen are a cut above everyone else to me cmc and Faulk are interchangeable on this list.  though Faulk was better career wise
    • Maybe faked was too strong of a word.  "Milked" may be the better way to call it.
