The most popular topic 1 year ago today was "Sorenson wants Wr, Blackmon".

At post #76 of 115, chris999 is the first person to mention the word Kuechly.

None of us know as much as we think we know.

BTW, he was the only poster in the entire discussion to even mention his name. At all.

Color me me stupid too.

We had lots of discussions about Kuechly. I was an avid supporter. Some people felt like he made his tackles 5 yards past the line of scrimmage and the defense funneled tackles to him. A bunch of people hated him and a bunch liked him. I was at the Draft party in BoA and the guy next to me wanted Kuechly really really bad.

I'm not going to lie, i thought we would've had a healthy Beaston and didn't want anythign to do with Keeks. And when Cox was on the board i thought there was no chance in hell we were gonna pass over him.

And then we took Keuchly and I was mlldly upset but then I just dealt with the fact he was a Panther and rolled with it.

Now I love the kid.

One year + 4 months ago I posted the following thread in the draft forum:

LOL at all the "not another Dan Connor" comments.

I was on the Kuechly bandwagon early and the Cam bandwagon early as well. Hopefully I can keep my record in tact this year and we'll draft Quinton Patton in the 2nd.

I mentioned him in several posts and so did others ie. panthers55 .When everyone was arguing that Beason could come back from a torn Achilles there was a strong contingent that did not

Ravens love Flowers. Egbuka was a strong OROY pick   Seems like a great spot with these recent picks.......Best value has been WR....
    • false rumor, he's a team leader.  No clue what he is worth.....Rico came off the streets for 2.5million and put him to #2 for weeks. I doubt a team would give much more than a late rounder. Like Frank said above, 5th would be tops and very lucky.  He's got a fair contract and is well liked by players, coaches, and FO. No reason to trade.
    • Set us back a few years but..a decade? lol what are you smoking man.   only 2000s move that’s come close to actually setting a team that far back wash owns trading for Deshaun, thankful we didn’t win that “sweepstakes” at least    I know hyperbolic commiseration is all the rage here but no team in the NFL is more than a few years away from competing if they go about things right (“right” being the key word here) just in the last few years see: Lions, Patriots, Broncos, Colts (pre DJ injury)
