I think he's a great receiver but he seems to lack elite speed and from the games I've watched drops quite a few balls over the middle. I'd love him with our 2nd if he's there though! But I'd be upset if we got him in the first to be honest. Anyway what do I know? I could sound like an idiot a year from now.

Great route runner hands often trumps elite speed....

Athletically, Sammy Watkins poos all over Watkins but I think Hopikins is the better actual WR.

He won't make it to the 2nd. Id love to trade down to the late 1st round and draft him picking up a 3rd in the process getting him.

I watched every game Nuk played this year....he just makes plays. He did it against all sorts of Ds

Then again, he might not be the best fit. Our real hole is not having that Mike Wallace type WR given who our QB is

Smith, Hixon and Ginn isn't any better than what we had last year...with Smith, LaFell, Murphy. With Smith year older it definitely isn't a stronger cast around Cam.

Look at the NYG model and tell me they don't believe in drafting WRs high....it isn't like NY only drafts a Megatron in the top rounds. We need to be building Cam an offense....the whole "TD scorer" thing G talks about....

Why have we spent precious FA money and spots on WRs if we are drafting a WR at 14?

We brought in a return man who dabbles at WR....

and Hixon...

that isn't much and Smith is getting old. We have a franchise QB....he needs real threats. He just has one declining threat and a bunch of guys to pay roles.

      My long and rambling post:   The guy is all heart, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he came back even better next year. He’s exactly the guy you lock up. The money won’t ever change the way he plays.  It was a big fumble, but what 1,000 yard back fumbles once in an entire season?  Pride. This team is FINALLY seeing guys who obviously take the game very seriously. Hunt, Chuba, Thielen, Brown, Horn (CB), Coker, Bryce (IMHO). Bye bye, Spider-Man. I don’t see these dudes being OK with teammates half-assing practice or in games. I can see Brown and Horn coming over to talk to somebody.  Good team? Ummm, maybe, but will still likely lose more close games than they win unless this last draft turns in to LOB part 2. That’s a stretch.  Pretty good/decent team. Yes. They finished the season as a pretty good team. I know I sound like a broken record harping back to it, but going in to ATL and putting a 40 burger on them en route to an OT win. A bad Panthers team would have had their brakes beaten off. We’ve seen it.  Rose colored glasses on and bonging a 40 of hopium: There are watershed moments that occur that change the course of franchises, both good and bad. If Fox doesn’t pull Rodney at halftime, the epic journey that was 2003 never happens. On the negative side, Cam taking that one hit from Watt was the end of any and all Panthers relevancy and we’ve been the biggest losers in all of pro sports as a result. Watershed moments. LOB draft. Vinny goes down and the goat is born.  Will the ATL game be the spark that this franchise has desperately needed? Could it be that they hit the mega million jackpot with Princley and Scourton as eat QBs for breakfast? Sure would be nice having 2 all-pro edge guys on the cheap for the next 4 years.  A lot of unknowns, but at least it actually feels  fun again.

      Ok LT and Petersen are a cut above everyone else to me cmc and Faulk are interchangeable on this list.  though Faulk was better career wise

      Maybe faked was too strong of a word.  "Milked" may be the better way to call it.
