I have a strong feeling that this is going to be PANTHER year.

2002 - We were coming off a 1-15 season

2003 - Playoffs

2004 - Smitty broken leg

2005 - Playoffs

2006 - 8 n 8

2007 - Jake's busted elbow

2008 - Playoffs

2009 - Superbowl Win 9a8vtv.jpg

I thought last year was our year. Even before the season started, I anticipated us going 11-5 and making the playoffs. I'm not going to make the same claim this year.

I will say, however, that I think we'll make the playoffs. But even that may be a bold claim, as we don't know how the other teams on our schedule -- including some strong interdivision rivals -- will perform, nor do we know how healthy the Panthers will be throughout the season.

I thought that we had the best chance to win the SB last year. I said as much heading into December.

We were healthy, and had a very good run game. IMO, if you can make the playoffs, with almost all of your starters healthy, you have a chance.

Well, the Panthers are due for some good luck in the injury department, that's for damn sure. Even last year, they had a different O-linemen out almost every week. Hopefully, they will break that vicious cycle of having a good year and then losing half the damn starters the next year.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
