Gettleman is the Honeybadger of GM's

We became a better football team over the last three days.

How do you know this? He's been GM for just a little bit, has never been GM at an old age, and most importantly the team has yet to play a snap and rookies have had no time to show anything. How do you come to this conclussion and that it is some how better than what any other teams have done?

People need to start accepting this might not work out, these moves might not make us better. It could get worse. Everyone said it would get better after Fox left too, well it hasn't been as of yet...these people over reacted. Why can't people on the huddle wait and see before celebrating?

I don't see how adding kwann and star don't make the team better. If you can't accept that then you are a straight up hater.

You're missing the point, you haven't seen them play yet. You don't know if they will work out and won't know if Gettle is a good GM until years from now. All teams have some good picks that will most likley help their team at the holes they had. They are no different than us, not that we absolutley know anyway. I just don't understand whyt he huddle over reacts so much.

You know how the huddle goes hot to cold all the time? People flipping out, then happy all of a sudden? Well, it's due to over reacting like this.

Forgive me years of losing have made me cynical.

    • Apparently CSW lost his starting job to Thornton last year. If he can stay healthy I bet Thornton keeps that NB position.
    • I member him staying after practices with only to see he was wearing heavy weight vest, one of his trademarks. He also put in 10 years, right? People forget he was the ST stud that called the snap and made sure everyone lined up right. He was one of the "glue" guys that bought his "lunch pail" to work.... He was a willing solider, all teams need a couple of them. He blocked for sooo many panthers RBs- Davis, lane, Williams, foster, goings and when there was huge injuries he took over the starter duties and had a couple 100 yard games. If you followed hoover, he took the perfect RB path cause he was just a slow heavy one himself....
    • Walker likely depends on a couple of things. What exactly did Dan promise him, to start with.  How much other interest he actually had for a starter job at high pay is another question. It isn’t outside the realm of possibility that he could stay on as a swing tackle waiting to take Moton’s spot when it opens.    I can’t get myself to consider Icky as a viable anything until we see him back on the field.     Hunt seems to be a team player and good guy but I don’t think he is worth what he is being paid. I have him tentatively earmarked for cap causality in the near future.
