What % odds would you put on the Panthers moving from Charlotte in 6 years?

ahh...the Amazing Race...I remember seeing that during the show and laughing my ass off while I kept replaying it over and over again.  Good times!!!

as for my answer...I'll go out on a limb and guess somewhere between 0 and 100%

0%, was listening to a recorded interview on WFNZ w/ Pat McCrory and Taylor Zarzour mentioned he had spoke with Goodell at the Wells Pro/Am golf tournament here last week and Goodell said there were at least 10 teams that would be primed to move long before Charlotte (in his opinion).

Charlotte is an excellent market, a new owner would be really dumb to walk away from 1) a stadium they own free and clear 2) PSL's and 3) 100+ consecutive sellouts. Would a new owner threaten to leave as leverage to get public money for more expensive upgrades to the stadium? sure... but that doesn't mean they would actually leave.

Is that interview archived?

exactly.

the panthers aren't going anywhere.

it's a silly thing to worry about and even sillier thing to keep on making threads about....unless it provides a reason for posting this stuff...

    • I presented that scenario because this is a home game and we seemed to have improved in some capacity in that area as of recently. The problem with the possibility of sweeping the Bucs is this team has had a habit of quickly falling victim to momentum shifts. The Bucs are coming off a bitter loss the same as the Panthers but the Bucs have a much better proven track record this time of year and they have performed when the pressure is on unlike our Panthers. We have a shot against the Seahawks here in BOA but that is a matchup that could quickly get out of hand because they are a well coached team and that goes back to the momentum shifts I mentioned. I just don't see this team beating the Bucs in their stadium to close the season. Tall order to say the least.
    • I’d give it another year for Sanders and Evans, I don’t much care what you do with Tremble’s spot. Let him have another year or maybe replace him. Haven’t looked at his contract so that may be the determining factor.
    • Following the crazy up down pattern we finish 9-8 with an improbable sweep of TB, and lay an egg in the home playoff game.  I don’t know if I can sign on to sweeping TB but I suppose it’s possible, they aren’t really that good this year.    ps I can buy beating TB Sunday and losing to Seattle.  Then it just gets to can you fluke one game. Any given Sunday. So we’ll see.
