Panthers Rookie Camp this Weekend

I agree with Zod on this one...

I have a feeling that Lester makes the final roster. As long as he shows competence in the secondary and proves that he can be a solid special team's player, he should beat out Nakamura and Jones.

My understanding is that Naka brings depth and Jones brings special teams play, so like I said previously; as long as he shows competence in the secondary and can contribute on special team's, he seems like a very good candidate to make the roster behind Charles Godfrey, Mike Mitchell, and D.J. Campbell.

On top of that, Lester is a cheaper option than Naka and Jones; and both of their contracts are easy to cut as well.

Unless the Panthers sign a veteran, Lester makes the roster.

I'm starting to get good vibes from the Kugbila pick. He looks the part and seems to have a good head on his shoulders and knows he's got a lot of work ahead of him to be a starter. That goes a lot farther in today's NFL than people often realize.

Its funny that in these set of pics and the ones right after the draft, there are far more pics of Barner than any other player...

There are reasons for this.

1. We can only shoot individual drills and stretching.

2. Offense usually works out on the field closest to media.

3. He is the most intriguing offensive rookie
