I can't wait to see what numbers he will put up now that we have some DT that will hold there own. Better yet I can't wait to see how creative the Defense might be in general now that they feel they have fix that position. Only a couple of months away from football action :D !!

lol...Hardy is so underrated. You never hear about him but he is one of the best DEs out there easy. Nasty streak you can't coach, in fact our staff has to contain him. Still, defensive guys need to be mean and he seems to enjoy his job. This video is fuging awesome and is proof why I love Hardy so much.

Had the opportunity to go to fan fest last year and we sat near the defensive line drills.  You could tell something had clicked with him.  He was the first one in line and went through the bag drill, and his technique was flawless and so much faster than everyone else.  I remember telling my co-worker that he looked so much different and so much more established in that position.

 

Was great to see him breakout last year.  I'm hoping he can have a similar year this year.

I just hope Hardy will resign for a reasonable price. I think he's going to be one of the best DE's in the league.

 

With Star and Short on the line now we should still have a formidable d-line with CJ and Alexander might be good enough eventually but I wanna lock Hardy up long term.

 

I have a feeling since he was drafted so low he will be looking for a big payday and based on last years performance deserves it

      Exactly.  You let him play out next season and continue to develop Thorton.  Jackson’s earned his next contract, but his age and the risk of tying up such a large portion of the payroll at one position leads me to believe that we’ll let him walk. In all likelihood, we’ll draft another CB, or two, and bring in some journeymen to fill the roster void, between now and the start of the 2027 season.  That’ll create more balance financially across the roster enabling us to invest in other areas.

      As far as the NFCS … I think this division will be hotly contested the next couple of years.   I am tending to pay more respect to both Atlanta and the Saints n terms of how strong they will be moving forward, than not.    I am mixed on Ryan but think they have a decent roster to start with. I don’t think he blundered hiring Stefanski. And that offense can be dangerous with a QB. Plus, defense is arrow up. No 1st round pick, WB issues will dull their effectiveness. Question is, to what degree?   I think Moore is going to be a good HC and can overcome tape that people have on Shough. They need a lot but they were playing with people. Just the way you want to see all the way to the end.    Not sure about Tampa they have Mayfield but I don’t think they can maintain their success and Bowles is not going to last much longer. They have to go through all that. Gonna be tough once it starts. Might already have started.    For us I feel pretty good about Morgan. But less so about our offense, we have some short term RB and OL issues and those things are critical given what we are working with at QB.  Overall, mixed. Like a lot of what I see but some major question marks remain.

      Absolutely. If we are talking about a 20 year old youngster. He's a grown-ass man, and he doesn't know what his job entails or how to do it? Maybe he will be better next year! It's the Panther way.
