Reminds me of a story my wife told me.  She works at school.  One of her students was late one morning but came in with a note from his mother.  It read to please excuse my son for being late this morning.  He found a tick on his penis this morning while showering and we had to help get it off.  This made him miss the bus.

 

Who writes that for a child's excuse for being tardy.  A simple, "Johnny wasn't feeling well this morning so we kept him home until he was well enough to come in," would have worked.

ticks are crazy this year. Believe it or not I have never seen a tick before (IRL) and in the last week I've caught one crawling on my arm and popped one of each of my two dogs.
