Ok discussion:

-"I'm concerned about our depth at guard"

-"I think Gettleman will bring someone in."

Not ok:

"Dude Amani sucks and Kugbila is injury prone"

"Whatever dude Kugbila just tweaked his hamstring"

"Your gay bro. I've been watching Panther football since 2011."

"Ur gay for calling me gay, bro"

X 3 pages

Shouldn't you be in the Tinderbox apologizing to blacks and crying over the prejudice they face?

this is 75% of the threads on the huddle. doesn't sound like a tc thread issue, it's a forum issue.

So your saying we can't have a conversation about that days camp in the camp thread... even after practice is over? Yeah, I'm not buying that.

Not saying that at all, in fact I'm agreeing with you. Daily TC threads are about poo that happened that day. Discussions of said poo should certainly be in there. Discussions of poo that happened a week ago should not.

so then we need 2 threads. one for updates, one for discussion of the updates. i thought the whole purpose of 1 was to keep down the clutter. oh well.

No sir, we need to keep the posts and discussion about a day in the daily thread. When we go into a thread for the 28th, we should see updates and discussion about things that happenend on the 28th. That's the purpose of the threads, so we can keep up to date.

Hey by all means, if you want me to make a thread about Silatolu's growth, the wide receiver battle, and Kugbila's injury (which all

happened/are happening) at camp then don't get pissed off when the forum starts to get cluttered.

you're missing the point. it's about DAILY camp threads. Those are specifically about news, updates and discussion of that day's events, not general discussion. Kugbila's injury came at camp, but not today. We don't need to bog down today's thread with pages and pages of arguments between two people about something that happened last week. Put it in it's own thread, and take the prefab house discussion with it.

The individual, daily training camp threads are for news and updates of events from that day, they are not generic training camp discussion threads. This was explicitly expressed at the beginning of camp. If a big event or subtopic develops, that's fine, but move it out into a new thread...just like I did with this one.

It's very annoying to open up a daily TC thread and see 5 pages of discussion about an unrelated topic. It's not about being butthurt, it's about keeping the threads on topic.

Agreed.

Shouldn't you be in the Tinderbox apologizing to blacks and crying over the prejudice they face?

The hell?
