Fiammetta signs

Recommended Posts

I think he wil fit in fine but I am still holding out on the notion that he is Hoover's heir apparent.

Not that I don't like the guy. I want him to be a monster in the backfield and help Dubl Trubl get more yards than any other 2 teams in the NFL combined.

I'm just waiting to see him in action, plus I am quite the Hoover fan.

Those are some big shoes to fill, IMHO...

It is a bit earlier, but camp comes later this year too. Normally we start with the low round picks early July usually squeezing in the top pick just as camp starts (except for Beason).

With no first rounder, I guess it shouldn't be difficult to have everyone signed on time.

For Fiammetta, that's good he's signed. It's seems the opinions are about split on his role this year. I'm in the camp of, Yeah, the guys' a beast, but he's got to learn. Those thinking Fiammetta is bouncing Hoover this year is sorely mistaken, IMO.

I think CJ wilson or nate salley will be cut. But we are doing well with our signings so far.

Nah, they will cut camp fodder signed in the winter before cutting regulars. Especially to sign draft picks. The chances of CJ and Nate making it past the final cut in early Sept. are very high.

I don't think he'll bounce hoover this or next season. However I think with his skill sets and speed, that he should be polished enough Talent wise going into this season to take some plays away from Hoover. Which in my book is a good thing, the longer you can keep (one of if not the best blocking fb in the league) fresh the better.

    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
    • Nah we just talking about giving a platform and normalizing predators (who both beat women) opinions and celebrating it if it fits your narrative.  If that's fun I'm fine being a miserable fug by not supporting P.O.S like that. N b4 you call me a libtard or some other dumb ish know I'm an Anarchist/Libertarian and believe both these dudes should get a complete ass whooping (at min) or something worse for what they have done to women in this world.
