Brandon Williams #2 TE?

Negative. Many of our camp body pick ups were given three year contracts. It has zero guaranteed.

But I do think he will give hartstock a run for his money and possibly beat him out.

He has been seeing more action with the 2's than Hartsock, and its just 5 days into camp.

Doubtful. He is signed for 3 years with us. I think he makes the 53

Thanks Zod, that's great news! I didn't know he was signed for so long. Then I stand corrected, I thought they initially brought him in as a body rather than having a mind to bring him onto the squad. Maybe we will see 2 TE sets again this year? I am all for pounding the sht out of the rock, but when we do pass I think it should be primarily out of 2 TE sets, Cam was golden in those back in 2011.

I am 6 ft 200 lbs. and Brandon made me seem like an infant next to him. This guy is straight from Greece.

His hands are also massive. Dayumm!!!

I was doing some reading on Mr. Williams and apparently Brandon was injured at Oregon on a 27 yard one handed grab.

Even when he gets hurt he does something amazing.

Speaking of amazing his numbers at Joilet were that of a division one wide receiver. I mean come on, 950 receiving yards for a tight end in college football is unheard of.

    • After watching Dan for 3 yrs now, I think I understand his plan. It’s a simple plan that should work for the long run.     I saw some of this last yr. Dan wants a vet and a young player at each position. I really think we go OT if one they like there. Moton is aging, Icky will not be back until 27, if ever. We need to get ahead of the tackle problem
    • You are just stressing too much about these particular positions. You want to upgrade from Bryce and I understand that but you aren’t going to really get that without getting into a bidding war for a QB2 potential QB1 like Willis. You could possibly trade for Mills or the backup for Chicago but they are still gambles and their teams will won’t decent picks.  Again the Eagles thought KP was a capable enough backup to trade for him once their backup was hurt and won a Super Bowl with him as QB2. The point is most teams aren’t rolling with some stud QB2/3 that is going to push even a bottom tier starter. They are better off the building their roster in other areas. The Rams are rolling with Bennett right now as QB2 for example.  The goal is winning absolutely. We overachieved last year even with stumbling into the playoffs. Another year and this staff needs to take the next step in building a team. Will Grier has little to no impact on that….
    • Three straight first round WRs is straight up Matt Millen poo. Considering the draft capital we have tied up on Bryce after that trade we would basically have spent damn near all of our draft capital in recent years on QB and WR just to put one of the most anemic passing offenses in the league on the field. Clown show poo.
