2nd Year Adopt-A-Panther Huddlers

OK. So, I've noticed a lot of you guys lost your adopted Panthers from last year due to being late to the party. Last year, I too was late and didn't get anyone. So, this year I'm granting the Huddlers from last year seniority and if you still have your player from last year in you sig... HE'S YOURS THIS YEAR!

To make it fair to the guys who have already signed up to those players they will still be considered "foster homes" for said player. BUT FEAR NOT LOYAL HUDDLERS!!! If this is your second year adopting the same Panther, I will make a special sig for those with a two year adoption.

So, if you're interested in adopting the same panther this year... Let me know here so I can edit this list with the 2 year adoptions.

And lastly, we need a special title for the Huddlers who will be doing this 2 years running, so and ideas for sweet titles let me know.

Now back to making sigs.

Kinda makes it boring every year though doesn't it? Should be fair game in my opinion, should porbably have a post/activity requirement as well seeing as people jut like to whine and fight for a name and neglect updating it.

Also a lot of peeps just want to have a panther but never update their stats. I'd bet at least half the team was never updated last year- you should probably not allow those people to reclaim a player.

Sounds to me like everyone wants to kill a good idea.

Yeah, I know what you mean. That's why I'm offing the 2nd year thing to people who DID keep their player up and most still have it as a sig.

In the case this year, if people don't want to post the sig and stats, then just like real adopting, the Panther will be removed from them and put up for Re-Adoption (Mostly just starters).

The Huddle has grown since last year and sadly there is not enough players to go around. That's why I'm offering the 2nd year thing. That way they can keep the player and get a special sig for doing it for two years, while the people who were late to the party last year can still have the chance to prove themselves and "foster home" a player.

Just trying to be fair to everyone, but once I hand out the sigs... If I see players not being updated and supported by their adopter, I will put that player back up for adoption.

Anyone have an issue with this way of doing it?

All's I know is that so I was a little hurt that he was taken **sniffle**, but I trust he's in good hands with one of my two Huddle friends, redbuhdda.

Take care of him, buhdda.

Sorry about that TopDawg, but if you remember my sig, I had to get a TopCat last year. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

I too have been on the Barner bandwagon, and have recently taken some flak after creating some threads, and a few posts saying that Barner would have a major impact this year.

I watched a lot of Oregon football last year, and was really high on him, when we drafted him.

I promise to take really good care of him. I already slipped a fiver in Shula's pocket to make sure Barner gets used often.

So what do I have to do to adopt a panther. I would like star if possible

If you didn't adopt last year. Go to the 2013 Adopt-A-Panther thread to see who is left. Keep checking because I have a feeling a few good player might be neglected and put back up for adoption.

But no Star is taken already

    • Valid, and throw in that what Wilson and Smith did is not out of the ordinary for a WCO
    • Darnold was pretty bad until last year.  He implodes mentally, its just what he does.  To this day I dont have a problem with letting him walk.   Baker is a bit different.  He was an ass in Cleveland and they couldnt deal with his poo, but he at least had talent and went to the playoffs.  So you know he could play at least.  There were different stories coming out from the time he got here, competing with Sam and then the practice team release fiasco.  Both good and bad.  Some say he was a good teammate others say he bitched behind the scenes.   From what it appears his wife has worked with him and he calmed down and his play has reflected that.  Tampa loves him.  So if we were going to keep one it probably should have been him but man he was really bad for us.  But to his defense he didnt get the first team reps until late into camp.     In obvious hindsight we should have signed Baker cheap, drafted a dude and let the cards play out, but you know the rest of the story and now we are going to have to watch bryce for 2 more years
    • Again his one year calling plays happened to be Baker's lowest YPA not counting his split year hear.  That tells me he was less aggressive with a QB who likes to be aggressive.  We have that and almost 2 full years of Bryce Ball here in Carolina.  He will take some deeps shots as most offenses have to in order to keep the defense honest.  Quick passes and hopeful YAC.  I'll give you one guess to which year Rachaad White had the most receptions as TB's RB?  Remember the first thing he wanted to do here is focus on how quickly he wanted to get the ball out.  That's part of his recipe to help QBs and help his OL.  Run the ball, quick passes to hopefully players in space, sprinkle in a little PA.   So yeah you can look at some coaches he learned under and speculate, but I am telling you what he literally is doing and has done as a play caller.  Offenses that were and are 100% his baby.
