One thing we didn't talk about: Deangelo

He looked like the Deangelo of old last night.

Shifty, making something out of nothing, picking up good yards the few times he did touch the ball.

Hopefully this is a sign of things to come, a good Deangelo will do us nothing but good for us, and help us win a lot of games.

Deangelo looks good pounding the rock from under C.....if the OL can at least give him a chance. That doesn't surprise.

Issue is Chud would stubbornly do two things....not use him in the above scenario.

Or ask him to get involved in these new spread looks, zone reads, etc. He doesn't fit....isn't that good of a RB if asked to be that RB

I was happy with what he did but the next game should be more telling so I can't wait. I also hope the O-line continues to gel and start to open up even bigger wholes for the RBs to run through. Our true test is going to be the third preseason game against the Ravens that's when we will get a picture on how they look.

He had a hell of a block on one play as well! knocked the LB or DE on his ass!

Ya all the RB played well. That chip block though showed another side of Deangelo that people don't talk about which is his physical side. But did ANYONE see when Kenjon Barnet trucked that guy on that Kickreturn.
