Second Half Observations

This is a good learning experience. We play 4 teams who will give us lots of different looks on offense and defense. Cant do anything but make us more prepared for the regular season. It is hard to judge this game given we had nothing to look at on their offense and aren't gameolanning. Still our offense was pretty anemic. Sure miss Tolbert in the redzone.

Brandon Williams confused me this game. He had some great blocks in the running plays against the Eagles 1st string in the 1st half, but he whiffed a couple of times against the Eagle's backups. I liked how he dragged some defenders for six yards on his only catch, though.

The main for me with Gettis is that he had multiple nice grabs with his hands.

That said, unless Adams or Pilares shows some recieving ability, Hixon is still safe.

Still very raw.

Loads of upside though.

    • I’m old enough to remember when I wanted to draft Njoku We brought back Mitchell and officially kept Tremble. Mitchell Evans isn’t going anywhere. Sanders who knows, he was awful last year I fully agree we need a better TE. This room is awful Njoku would be a massive help in the red zone. However it really seems like Dan and the FO prefer to go young on offense
    • You’re underselling Loveland imo. He’s so damn good. You can line him out wide and count on him to win 1 v 1. I don’t see that from Sadiq. Loveland is going to go over 1000 yards next season I’m not overly asking for a WR3. It’s just one of the few directions Morgan could go in round 1.  Let’s say Thieneman, Fano and Cooper are all on the board it’s a tough decision. I just don’t see how this team would take Sadiq over some of those guys given the way they run their offense. Our tight end room is easily bottom of the league so I can definitely see why someone would want a tight end though. At one point during the season I was on the Sadiq train as well. I just don’t think value wise for us specifically it makes sense given our team as a whole As far as tight ends go in this draft I really like Max Klare. Very smooth mover
    • Some of you need some serious help with the way 9 lives rent free in your heads I know for a fact, Dan loves Bryce. Bryce is his guy. This offense is very young and they’re asking Bryce to do a lot. With Idzik taking over playcalling duties it’s a move that is another step in the process of Bryce taking control of the offense. 24 years old. This youth movement on offense and putting more on 9’s shoulders is going to pay off in the long run
