Goodbye David Gettis

Didn't get as much of a chance as he should have gotten. I look forward to watching him catch on somewhere and be a productive 3rd WR. With what Ginn has shown and Hixon having NFL production history, the writing was on the wall. Armanti is a feel good story, but Gettis is a better player by leaps and bounds. Armanti can do more on special teams though. Versatility wins roster battles.

    • We are in the era of young, impact WR's immediately popping. This isn't the era where it was rare to see a 1st round WR make an impact for 2-3 seasons.  If Tmac doesn't look good in year 1(barring injury or just general offensive woes), that probably isn't a very good sign for his NFL future.
    • This is one of the biggest issues, and speaks to Evero in general. He's so reluctant or outright unwilling to change his scheme and it's probably his downfall as a coach now and in the future.  At the end of the day, put your best guy on their best guy. If they win, so be it. But you can't look back and say damn, what could we have done differently?
