A comment Eric Davis related that he said to Kerry Collins in his second year.

According to ED, Collins was sitting around in the steam room talking about how much pressure he was under as a young quarterback.

Davis essentially told him this was his job, what he wanted to do, what he'd trained his whole like for, etc.  And now it was time to do it.

Collins...well... :(

Mr. Scott - You may need to explain to 80% of the Huddle who Eric Davis and Kerry Collins are.

Buddy of mine gave his son a military themed 13th birthday party (little fella says he wants to be a Nave Seal) and served as the party's 'drill sergeant'.  I was along for the ride.

In the spirit of things, I told the partygoers they made Gomer Pyle look like Rambo.

They had no idea who I was talking about

Actually you're thinking of Private Pyle aka Leonard Lawrence from FMJ. He is actually talking about a comedy from late 60's called Gomer Pyle played by Jim Neighbors.

In other news, FMJ rules! This I my rifle, there are any like it but this one is mine. My rifle is my best friend, Ii is my life, I must master it as I must master my life...

    • I wouldn’t be surprised if the Pats win it all or at least get there. Maye is awesome.
    • Young quarterbacks Drake Maye, Bo Nix, and Bryce Young have led their teams to undefeated records since October.   Drake Maye has guided the New England Patriots to a 5-0 record in that period, with 2,285 passing yards and 17 touchdowns in nine games. Bo Nix has directed the Denver Broncos to a 5-0 stretch, throwing for 1,976 yards and 17 touchdowns, contributing to a 7-2 overall start. Bryce Young, in his second season, has led the Carolina Panthers to a 4-0 run since October, accumulating 1,390 yards and 11 touchdowns amid a 4-4 record.   Undefeated QBs since start of October (min. 4 starts)   Drake Maye 5-0 Bo Nix 5-0 Bryce Young 4-0   Bryce Young when asked about his mindset during game winning drives: "You don’t rise to the occasion you fall back to the level of your training."
    • 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons.    3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity.    5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
