Why would you run it out? Have we not learned from Fox?

 

this is Rivera's MO as well..  I've never seen him smash, kill, destroy like I heard him say when he got the job...

 

 

he'll always provide those same great defenses, maybe even better than, that Fox provided...  And I can't argue with playing it safe, but at least use up the 3 timeouts and call high percentage plays to see if you can out execute the defense...

I don't blame Rivera for playing it safe. By forcing the ball with about 30 on the clock we have a much higher chance of turning it over and giving the seahags points in a low scoring defensive game. Good players calling by coach.

That kind of limp dick poo has gotten us exactly 4 winning seasons in 17 years.

Take that nice guy garbage up the street.

Big difference between aggressive and wreck less. Remember that weirdest return trick play against the Vikings a few years ago. You can over think things and cost yourselves the game.

      Lions were never going Freeling over Miller for the same reason we wouldn't have taken Miller had Freeling not been on the board. Miller is a career RT Lions have a hole at RT, we have a hole at LT. If we took Miller, it would have been for him to backup Moton until he retires and/or we release him, so the best case scenario is it would have been a wasted 1st round pick for at least 1, if not 2 years.  At least Freeling has a shot at playing this year without injury ahead of him, he absolutely can win the LT job if he earns it, but Miller would have never supplanted Moton this year unless he got hurt.

      What up y’all. I like threads like this where we can stroll down memory lane. I remember the insane amount of site traffic pre-crash when we signed Keyshawn Johnson, 06 I believe. Raging about the Cowboys Christmas Eve loss in 05 (Peppers touched that FG attempt as sure as Cotchery caught it). When I found the huddle I basically had a first born baby, now I’ve got one in college and one in high school. Life comes at you fast, but the Panthers and the Huddle has been a steady constant in my life for many years.  Those who have been here, y’all are cool with me any time any where.    Cheers, genitals!

      This is a weird post since it wasn’t like we got A’s across the board. We needed a QB and got a consensus top 2 player at that position. (I was pretty vocal that Stroud should’ve been the guy but…)  I think this draft we generally got better value. I’m not particularly optimistic on BY but another year in this offense playing with TMac he really needs to be a consistently average QB at a minimum
