Do not take Buffalo lightly...

I just watched the Buffalo v New England game with the intent to write up a scouting report thread, but have a killer headache so I'm not gonna do that. But their defense kinda scares me. They are hungry and they hit hard with intent to make you fumble every single time. Their d-line swarmed Brady on numerous occasions and caused plenty of bad throws.

Hey guys -

Just wanted to give a brief introduction and say hello in this thread. Apparently you guys have new members on lock down as far as beginning new topics.

Ive been a Bills fan for pretty much my whole life - I go all the way back to the Jim Kelly days and 3 superbowl busts. On the other hand my family has owned a small piece of property near Myrtle Beach for close to 100 years now and we always go there on vacation and those vacations are Never long enough for any of us. ( Come to Western New York for a winter and youll understand). Because of our ties to Carolina I am by default a fan of the Panthers and have secretly rooted for them for a long time now - at least when they arent playing the Bills. I will be watching this game - thank God - from my second Carolina home.

Anyway to make a long story short - I am thinking about relocating down here and if things work out my attachment to the Bills may be about done. I am going to be very conflicted about this Sundays game as to which team to root for, but one thing for sure is I think its going to be a real brawl. The Bill fan base is definatley pissed off about the loss to the rats on Sunday when the game should have been ours as is the whole team. And from what I have been reading on you guys forum the feeling is mutual. This one will not be given away. Its going to be a hard won game. I just hope both our teams get out of it without any major injuries.

May the best team win.

welker is in denver, hernandez is in jail, gronk is on the sidelines. are we really surprised that it was a close game? especially for the first game of the year? they scored 21 points and 7 of them came off a 74 yard fumble return. they werent exactly playing the seahawks defense either

Our defense is way under rated.

Anyone else pretty damn sure we're going to lose this weekend? I don't even think it's going to be close.

I'm trying to be positive, but I can def see us losing. Manuel probably gonna pass for 2TDs against our secondary. I'm not sure how well we'll come out vs that Bills D on Sunday too.

But I do think it'd be another defensive/low scoring game like last week.

I thought we had a great chance, but for some reason signing Fua just sucked all the wind out of my sails. Even if he doesn't play, it's just a terrible omen.

    • This season only ends one way... We win this Sunday. Bryce is decent. We take back 1st place...   Only to then get our brakes blown off in the last two weeks.
    • Here's one of the most maddening things, that will be shown in full light over the next three weeks. The same people around here that called Darnold a bum and Mayfield a washed up over draft are also the ones saying Bryce is a catastrophe. Yeah, and I've been one who said Bryce wasn't big enough, brave enough or capable enough. I said back in the day that Darnold had a lot of fight in him and got shouted down. And on Mayfield, heck I didn't know, I just knew we had a very, very bad team that was run terribly. But I saw both of those guys go out there and resurrect their careers and be play-off bound since shaking the Carolina clay dust off their cleats. And we sat there and cat called their cars as they pulled out of the parking lot, laughing at what nobodies they were. Over the next three weeks, those two guys may just serve us sh!t sandwiches and then settle down to their just desserts. And then we'll probably let Bryce go off into the realm of other teams. And when that happens, will we see him coming back, better than before and we're left to re-sit this cycle all over again? Same naysayers, same results, same revolving carousel of ponies and pundits?  Will we end up looking like the Temu version of the San Diego Chargers back in the day watching Drew Brees come to fruition in the previously moribund Superdome while we whiff on a Manning pick just to be jilted for Phillip "Always a Bridesmaid" Rivers?
