I'm hearing RIvera is out if we lose Sunday.

What difference does one game make? We are making the same mistakes we have always made with him as HC. So if we beat the giants and then lose the next game well be 1-3...is that really any better than 0-3 from a playoff statistics perspective? Prob not a whole lot...JR should have grown a pair and fired his ass over the offseason and not wasted an entire freakin season of football on this clown. What a joke.

I will never root for my team to lose.  Ever.  But if it's come to "win or be fired" why not just go ahead and make the move now, win or lose on Sunday?  Its obvious that Rivera won't be around next year, time for JR to get off the pot.

In all honesty I'm really not surprised by the start we've had. Team is still in cap hell for years to come...swiss cheese secondary....doo doo OLine.....old, fat, injured RB's....1 badass WR and a TE who is inconsistent. Status quo OC hire/promotion...

Ok end rant

Not sure about that. It would signify a house cleaning is coming and players would be on notice.

And really, could someone do worse that Rivera at game management?

Yes. Yes they can. Don't get me wrong, Rivera has been absolutely terrible at game management, but that's a common refrain amongst a lot of coaches in this league. The game is too specialized for the typical coach to have the right play in mind at every situation. Just throwing another live body in there will likely result in more poor game management and a total loss of cohesion elsewhere.
