lol do we really have people in this thread whining that a receiver wanted the ball?

Eh not whining, just observing. It was kinda funny. He definitely made a 'wtf' gesture when Cam threw it to someone else.

Yeah, that is the preferred approach clock-wise at the end of the half in that situation, but we were gaining yards and getting in a better rhythm when we were getting thise calls in quick out of the no huddle (the passes to Ginn and Olsen).

My problem is burning that timeout when the clock was already stopped to avoid a penalty. It hsppens way too often throughout games. Cam even signaled to the sideline thst they have to get the play in faster.

 

 

Yeah that could have bitten us.  Also didn't like the run play called.  Need to throw it to the endzone when you are down there.

Even if that was the reason Smith threw his arms up, it doesn't matter as long as we score. Now if we didn't score and Smith was wide open then he has a right to be pissed.

      FLA showed everyone it’s not about superstars. they bullied the best line in the NHL into obscurity. they played hard, were in the right positions, and ran over everything that got in their way.

      That’s really not what you said and when I even expressed doubt as to your intentions with the post you doubled down and remained unclear on whether you were trying to drag Dean Smith for whatever reason. You just got the facts wrong, which if you don’t follow the local college programs like you say then maybe you just were mistaken and thought Smith didn’t win championships or have legit superstars, and that is ok, but you just doubled down when my first post was more corrective than anything. I’m not sure what you expect posting objectively false things like “RBA has a lot of wins with nothing to show for it like Dean Smith” (paraphrasing) on a message board with plenty of UNC fans. I’m not taking it as a personal affront, we can agree to disagree, Dean Smith’s legacy fortunately will not be affected by this conversation. Screw the (Florida) Panthers?

      Bring in the free agents and trades.  Florida is the best team and unless Tulsky makes it happen, it’s more of the same…which isn’t bad…but it’s time to win a goddamn cup.
