We played a very base D all game....that isn't taking the leash off. That is guys just whipping their man.

I'm not sure why guys don't see this. We pretty much played 2 deep all game, and was still able to successfully stop the run. That's why our defense looked so good.

 

2 deep discourages QB's from throwing the ball down field.

Agree. Very little blitz used. The front 4 just abused the nyg line. I think star is a difference maker in the middle. He seems to be blowing up the middle of the line a lot.

I was listening to the after game show, the way he said it tells all and yes, the leash was taken off THIS WEEK on offense (even you should have seen that). Lets be honest it's 1 win and his poor coaching stretches over 2 1/4 seasons, blame goes that way to and there is more losing than winning...oh, wait we one this one...no one wants to face that...

It was a great team win.  Everyone stepped up their game knowing 0-3 is a steep climb.  We now have two weeks to plan our next game.  Lets enjoy this now and see if we can keep it up.

i agree but there were certain play calls at the beginning of the game that changed the "emotion" of the game. That means a lot to players.
