Josh Norman snap count

Anyone recall how much he was on the field? I don't recall him much at all.....that means he played great or Rivera wisely sat him.

Only time I remember him is when he foolishly tried to pick up that fumble instead of jumping on it (playing special teams)

It was Senn's fault for knocking him off the ball. Norman would have had it if Senn hadn't dove in and fuged it up.

Senn at least was smart enough to make the correct play on the fumble....

You can't try to pick that up....another example of Norman not having a high football IQ. Which is what holds him back bc he has some physical talent

Norman had it coralled, Senn knocked it out of his hands. Sure he should have just flopped on it but he would have had it if Senn hadn't fuged it up. They even showed the two of them having a convo on the sidelines, Senn was obviously apologizing, cause Norman mouthed its all good or something to that effect and slapped the top of his helmet.

Norman was acting like a short stop trying to let the ball roll into his hands so he could take off on some magical play....

A middle school coach can tell you that is dumb.

Norman just lacks something upstairs.....that is why he isn't on the field.

You jump on it or even knock it our of bounds. Too much emphasis on Senn, who played it smart...point is simply an illustration of Norman doesn't know smart football

    • The Bucs waived shilo sanders after he got ejected.
    • I'm just tired of ppl saying he's so accurate and then have to see recievers slow down to recieve the ball, ruining any chance at YAC
    • Some people will really look at stuff like this and say "no more excuses" but then make excuses to try and explain away the validity of big-time throws. 🙃   Back on topic though, as I mentioned in the other AT thread earlier, I hope that the team is still exploring the deal. If the Vikings want the Panthers to take on some of the salary, then it had better be at worst a 4th-round pick (though I imagine Dan angling for a 3rd). If they're willing to take on all of it, then maybe at worst a 5th. Tough pill to swallow, giving up a 4th for a 35yr old WR, but if MIN believes they can have similar success behind McCarthy then it could be a smart deal for them. Hell, if AT has any gas in the tank and gives them a 1yr sweetheart deal to close out at home, even better for Minnesota. Yea, Bryce loses his best and most reliable WR. Hunter Renfrow though isn't what I would call a huge step down though (if he's as advertised throughout camp), and it gives more reps to TMac + XL + Coker. This season is all about continued development and answering some of the looming questions (Is Bryce the guy? Is Evero the DC going fwd? How do the young WRs develop? How long does it take this defense to bounce back from being historically awful?).
