.

"I'm not going to start anything or push anything out there," Williams told ESPN. "I can say this, though — a different offensive coordinator. I can definitely say that. The last offensive coordinator got rid of his starting running back."

deangelo hasn't been shy about flaming chud. a couple of weeks before the start of the season he said something about chud being neither here nor there, but hinting strongly that his departure signaled a widespread relief in the locker room.

nevertheless i'm tempted to question whether or not correlation = causation here.

Is it a coincidence that the first major move that Chud makes in Cleveland is trading his best player in Trent Richardson?  I don't think so.   Deangelo is right, he's a great player when utilized correctly.   Granted it was a while ago, but you don't have a 1500 plus yard season with 18 tds and 0 fumbles (2008) and suck.

Williams needs to let it go. He made it clear last year he disliked Chud.

He also needs to realize if the roster gets healthy....there arent going to be lots of carries for anyone regardless of who the OC is

Dwill can say anything he want if he keeps running like that.

And I can't wait to have a healthy Stew back. I really don't see it as a disadvantage for Dwill. Stew and Dwill have always benefitted each other. I can't wait to see double trouble back under Shula. It will only open up the offense even more.

Less carries. And we have 2 hurt RBs.

Williams, Stewart, Barner, Tolbert....and the fact Cam simply needs to be part of the rush attack?

I personally don't think Double Trouble helps each other.....both are better runners when they get more reps and find a grove. If rather run one all game vs give each one 9 carries

Double trouble feeds off each other. They always had. Just not last year when Chud decided to abandoned the running game.

    • I think where they would be picked if redrafted before both classes have played enough football to really tell.  Baker literally looked like a washout with us after Cleveland gave up on him, then turned world beater with the Rams, got a prove it deal with the Bucs and has looked awesome ever since. Asking where Ward would’ve went had he went in ‘24 is just stupid.  I’m no GM, but I wouldn’t have taken Williams #1 either.  I would’ve taken Joe Milton way higher than he went.  I think Shadeur should’ve been a first round pick this year.  Point being, opinions are like buttholes, everybody has one.  It’s my opinion that Ward has that “something special.”  I get that feeling that he’ll be an even better pro than he was a collegiate QB because of whatever that quality is.  I think he’s gonna surprise a lot of people, especially being such an under appreciated first overall pick.
    • Where do we get our T-shirts and hats? Pretty sure this is the first championship ever in professional basketball or football in Charlotte!
    • Nice turnaround for Kon.  I’m still a little worried about his ability to create for himself and others, but it was SL.  Come regular season, he will playing a much different role and shots will be there for him.  He showed some reason for hope - and not just him, but the whole squad.  I suppose for the first time ever, we have drafted and acquired enough young talent that we actually not only competed for once, but won the whole thing in summer league.     Kon, Simpson, and Sims made all the difference.  Almost every year prior I felt we always struggled because we usually didn’t have a floor general/real PG to get us into offense.  This was such a breath of fresh air.  And look at us!  We finally are champions!😂
