Our pal Adam Schein, set straight by Bart Scott before our game

Reminds me of this tweet just today. It was in reference to the Browns, but still applies to all media.

Rich Eisen @richeisen 2h

I must say, I love Marvin Lewis, who just told media re: Browns "Who wrote ‘em off? You guys. That’s why you guys don’t get to coach, man."

God I don't miss that bell.

You and I are probably the only ones that understand that reference, but that bell is exactly why I HATE Tierney. He and I damn near came to blows at the A's game when he was there with his wife and that stupid bell, saying he'd retire it if enough A's fans showed up at the coliseum. It was in the concourse by the Irish Pub I wanna say near section 128. I was drunk and on a friggin rampage telling him he's a piece of poo and he needs to go back to New York, his wife would fug me if I'd allow it, you know, all the good stuff. Once I brought his wife into the equation he started coming at me all NY tough guy and I was in full on fight mode stance and some corporate handlers he was with (I think it was the 95.7 station managers) stopped him. He mentioned it the following Monday on the air talking about how no A's fans showed up at the coliseum against Texas, and the ones that were there were violent drunks. I think I'm who he was referring to.

    • Just worry about it next year.  Its that simple honestly.  its way to early to do what ifs.  I could see us trade/cut chuba and retain dowdle, I could see them let dowdle walk and go with Chuba/Etienne and Brooks, and I could see Dowdle and Chuba both stay and see what happens.  Hell, we still have 6 games left THIS season plus possible post-season...what if Rico or Chuba have an ACL tear or severe injury.  I DO NOT want that to happen, but stuff like that does happen.  Remember RB is the most injury prone position in the NFL due to the beating their bodies take so having some extra guys is never bad, just wish it hadn't come at the cost we paid to get him.
    • I think it’s cool that no one can be really certain what the outcome will be.  That’s a lot of progress! This is a real opportunity for us, I’d be happy with a competitive game and thrilled if we sack up for a W.
    • I could never found out who did the first surgery. That failed.      Nor who did the recent one.    Yiu can’t count on anything involving him. If it happens it’s a windfall at this point.
