Zombies.... Can it really happen?

Zombies are very mainstream now. TV shows movies games and more. Media and people around the weird seem to be obsessed with zombies.

But could it really happen? Is it just some fantasy for some and horror for others? Could the world really have an outbreak of some sort that would turn humans into flesh eating monsters.

It may be childish to think about but there are a lot of people out there who take this serious and think it will happen and soon.

What's your take on it actually being a possibility.

There already exists cases in the world of parasites that take over a host.

Is it so far past the realm of reason that something like the rage virus from 28 days couldn't exist?

Animating dead tissue is indeed a stretch, but some variation could happen.

Ask Louis CK, they already do!

 

I say no, unless it has to do with something along the lines of "28 Days Later."  Those are the most likely type of zombies.  It would have to be viral.  The biological possibilities are limited when you look at the energetic needs of the zombie.  Highly unlikely.

Max Brooks said in an interview that to him, a 'zombie' attack could be anything that affects humanity as a whole.  He thought it would likely be lack of clean water first.

 

Which, coincidentally, was his #1 weapon to fight against zombies.  You don't have water, you can't run.  You can't run, you are meat.

      I could smell this excuse coming. Any starter drafted after the 2nd is a bonus, not an expectation. Oh we need more offensive help because we spent so much on defense. We spent all that because we've barely drafted any defensive starters the last 5 years. The way I see it you'll get a better return on investment in defense than offense currently with this team. We proved that last year with just a modicum of investment in the defense. I'm not the biggest believer in Evero but I trust him more than Bryce.  The biggest factor holding the offense back wears #9. Accuracy is one of his strengths? 23rd in the league while being 30th in Y/A. Someone will claim we get no YAC but 49% of our yards were YAC which is higher than most teams in the league.  Unless he drastically improves you're going to get a bad return on investment. Yes TMac had a great rookie year but it wasn't exactly efficient volume wise. He has one of the worst catch % in the league at just 57%, probably related to that 23rd accuracy ranking.

      Bucks and Bulls have to try hard to tank and not take our play in spot at this point, still not mathematically eliminated I think but too tired to do the math, too close for comfort either way to close out the regular season in a drought
