Call of Duty: Ghost

looks just like the past 4 games that have come out.

didn't they say this one is on a new engine? sure doesn't look like it.

they turned this series into a joke. cod4 was the beginning of the end. if you compare cod1/2 with the poo that comes out now it's downright laughable.

Yea, new engine. They said it supposed to be more realistic with birds and trees moving and I think u can blow poo up. I think it's awesome that u get a dog and can customize ur character. I'm not a big fan of BF4... The maps looks too big and game play is weird.

Old COD was more team oriented and involved more strategy. COD today is not team oriented, that's why we see more hackers. People care more about prestige. I believe new COD is getting rid of prestige and K/D ratio. COD is still better than whatever out there.

Yeah i know there have always been players who don't care about the team goal or just want to camp. But right now it seems as bad as ever. It is nearly impossible to find a competitive game on a public server.

The things you mentioned as a plus are things that BF has been doing for years (blowing things up).  Is CoD on consoles finally getting dedicated servers like BF3 did the last two years?  If not that's ridiculous (for console version).    CoD is good for solo play like you said, but overall BF4 has a lot more to do.  Being able to play on a tablet on BF4 in a commander type role?  Amazing.

The maps are large, for sure, but I'd rather deal with large maps than CoD's terrible, TERRIBLE, spawn system.   I don't miss having people spawn behind me after I kill them so they can get the "revenge kill points".

CoD4 is still my favorite FPS, and maybe game, of all time.  I loved it.  I played it for two years since I didn't dig World at War (initially).  Then Infinity Ward stopped caring and let hackers take over, or else I'd still fire it up TODAY and play.  They took a perfect blueprint of an FPS in CoD4 and ruined it more each year, much like Blizzard did with D3 after having a blueprint with D2.  Activision being awesome again.

After Black Ops 2, I promised myself NO MORE GARBAGE. I also promised myself that after MW3 but fell for "new and improved" pitch but that wont happen again. Regardless of a new game engine or not, there wont be dedicated servers and the game will be garbage again. The only reason to purchase the maps season pass is for zombies as they are simply just releasing old maps with a "new look" I felt ripped off having the season pass and getting the same maps from black ops 1. I know this is about COD GHOST but my message is that I just can't trust activision or treyarch anymore.

I didn't even elaborate on their failed and I mean horrible failed attempt at Clan Ops. Organizing clan activities or even your team was impossible at times and you couldn't kick people from your clan and they couldn't leave.

Oh poo, you mean to tell me they added BIRDS?!!? And the trees move more realistic?!  AND A fuging DOG?!

AND you can blow poo up?  Daaaaamn, COD stepping their poo up.  Insta pre-order!

But seriously, fug Call of Duty.  Hate to sound like "that guy" but Battlefield makes this poo look like it's retarded step-brother.  The last real good one was COD4 (and it was awesome when it came out), starting with the 2nd Modern Warfare it just became shameless cash grab after shameless cash grab.  I have no idea why the fug people support this crap every year and it sells the way it does... completely saturates the entire gaming industry.  I'm sooo glad GTAV completely curb stomped Black Ops II's sales record.

It's like the gaming equivalent of Justin Bieber.

I enjoyed the MW trilogy, and Ghosts does look pretty good. I probably won't get it right off the bat though, there's so much due to hit this year and I've haven't even gotten around to the new Splinter Cell this year. Huge gaming year.

    • I'm happy with TMac, but Tyler Warren was last season's Tyler Linderbaum for me in that he was at a position that wasn't one of the five pillars but he was the best player at his position AND one of the top talents in the draft. I cannot fuging wait for the Panthers to start winning again so that those guys fall to us like they seem to for teams like Baltimore & Philadelphia.
    • Still working on consuming all of these so I don't have summaries available, but I figured there might be another Huddler or three trying to kill time before tonight's final preseason game.   Panthers Blueprint: Training Camp The in-house produced Blueprint series has given behind-the-scenes look on the field and off. Start the day with Robert Hunt's family, be in the morning meetings, mic'd up players during practice (Jaycee, Rozeboom, Icky, and Bryce), roster evaluations by the staff, and plenty of camp highlights capping off with FanFest.   Processing Blue (Mike Kaye & Alex Zietlow Mike and Alex are back talking about a variety of topics including but not limited to: joint practice + preseason game vs. Houston, Trey Hendrickson trade rumors involving Carolina, training camp awards, draft pick draft, and various thoughts about the team.   Jordan & Jake 706: Opening Day Another in-house Panthers' production, the most recent episode of Jordan and Jake talk about how to properly balance intensity in practice, react to the starters being shutdown for the preseason finale, share their thoughts on the newest Panther QB, and more.   Raw Room - Ep 278 - Gas Pedal (ft. Mike Davis) Assistant special teams' coach Darren Bates' Raw Room podcast has former Panthers' RB Mike Davis on his weekly podcast. I'm about halfway through this one and it's been a lot of fun. The Raw Room guys (DB, his friend Alex Sweets, former Eagles/Chargers OT King Dunlap, and former Atlanta DB Jalen Collins) are hilarious and Mike fits right in. They talk about his football experience coming up, decommitting from Florida and how he decided on South Carolina, and more. Warning: If you're the type of person that is easily distracted by accents, despite XL being on the team, you might have issues with understanding the Memphis dialect. If you don't care about how somebody talks, just what they're talking about, tune in!
