Stopping Newton - The Word is Out

Dont know who all saw it but Cam even had Rodney Harrison and Coach Dungy (Harrison actually said it) saying Cam needed to be on a different NFL team...on national tv.

This will eventually come back to haunt this team - somebody will end up offering more than we can with our cap problems and we'll be minus our QB.

Management better sit up and take notice - get something/someone going or we'll be right back to 2010 in the blink of an eye.

His point was the Panthers are not utilizing Cam as they should...not the most insightful analysis as its obvious to anyone, but im glad he said it on air...

Actually, Harrison said:  " It is time for the Carolina Panthers to switch quarterbacks".

That was the quote.

isn't the forumula for beating teams with a swiss cheese line is to blitz and blitz and blitz and just in case blitz more until the other team figures out what to do?

now Cam doesn't help his cause much by treating the football like a newborn baby and he wants to hold it until it takes a dump. get outside the tackles and throw it away dude.

stuff like that is part of my post yesterday. this team simply can't overcome ANY mistakes it makes.

LOL Bench Cam.

What the fug ever, these people are fuging idiots.

This guy is held to such an INSANE standard.

If he plays like poo for another 3 weeks, sure, talk about benching him

But he had the best start of his career, passing wise, and we want to bench him after a bad game?

Why do I feel like people think he is some 10 year vet?  Uggh.

It's Rodney Harrison.

What would you expect?

It seemed to me like our big go to the long developing plays and quit that productive up tempo playcalling move coincided perfectly with their spy and send the house agenda.  And like our decision to do so was written in stone and the coaches were standing around staring at the carved tablet for 20 minutes while shaking their head at the bad decision they could not go back and change and the terrible luck we were saddled with because of it... we watched the Cardinals feast on the Panthers.

that sh-t was dumb

    • Bryce just didn't maximize Hunter Renfrow's skills. ***rant incoming*** But this isn't just about Bryce Young mistiming passes to Renfrow so bad that he's going to get Renfrow killed or hurt, this is also about incompetentence by Dave Canales. Renfrow can still play. He's putting DBs in a blender out there---making them play twister at the top of routes to keep up with him, and dumb Dave has the nerve to cut him. How about putting Hunter in the best position to help the damned offense by appreciating his skill set, DC? You're letting Bryce's apparent inability to make an accurate throw, or at least his timidity to push the ball down the damned field cloud your judgment and miscalculate talent---or maybe just miss on talent just as much as Bryce misses passes due to playing pussified football. It's fúcking unacceptable.  Speaking of misjudgment, I don't know if it's Dan Morgan or Canales, but Eijiro Evero is not the business at DC. I have said a few times that his scheme is not conducive to run-stopping efficiency. Hell, and after watching some clips of plays, now I absolutely know why. The gaps are at least half open before the play even fúcking starts. You are setting the opposition's RBs up for success with too much damned space at the line and in the second level. If our guys are taken out in these areas---at the line and in the second level---then the defense is screwed because it must rely on the safeties to cover too much ground to make the tackle. At least put Ransom in who is motivated to seek and destroy if you're going to effectively leave the safeties on an island.  And speaking of rookies, get our two new defensive ends more snaps to see if we can't generate more of a pass rush. For all the good the continued sorry display of defense that you're putting out for fan's to see (Ejiro, Dave and Dan), you may as well get the rookies generously involved. Fúck that money we gave second-rate (maybe second-rate) vets, we need a damned spark getting after the QB. Watch it, it's just another breakdown of the sh¡t we were subjected to last week. I say this with all respect: Fúck you, Dave! Fúck you, Dan! Learn how to run a fúcking franchise. Maximize the players, regardless of what you think you're supposed to do by the book. Cut the dead weight before another season is lost and fans lose interest in September. EE is "Ew!" Or for emphasis "EEw!" /end rant
    • But nobody is saying he is a good deep ball passer.  But the facts are since he's returned from his benching, he has been throwing downfield.  Whether you want to credit the scheme, Bryce himself, or whatever, he has been pushing it deep.  Not to any positive results mind you, but it has been happening.
