He also blamed himself for the loss.

You don't get away with screwing Smitty over, and that's exactly what the referees did.

He couldn't get away from PP. He doesn't get away from any legit CBs anymore.....he is just pissed about that likely....

Top tier CBs do that poo.....the legit 1 WRs get off and out of it. Go back and look how Smith has done against Sherman, Talib, etc...

His game is limited now. CBs now simply get on him more. He is another year older this year. We schemed him away from having to deal with Sherman this year after Sherman owned him last year

How quickly you folks forget what Smitty has always and continues to bring to this team. IF FOR ONE SECOND yesterday you blind retards didn't see how blatantly obvious the refs were f'ing us over the entire game then I dont know what the hell you were watching because no poo That ish was ridiculous. It was damn near close to the Dallas game. I'm seriously at a loss for words on what the f those zebras were looking at yesterday but I tell you it was in Arizone red hued glasses thats for sure.

 

YES the guys made mistakes I definitely understand that but at one point we had 70 rushing yards and yet MORE yards in Penalty's ALONE! Ridiculous. I'm not one to blame stuff on officiating and penalties like this but if anyone needs to be fined it sure as hell isn't Smitty. What Im confused about is you ass's are sitting here calling out Cam while during the game you were calling him the greatest thing since sliced bread and then now calling out Smitty while all season you've been slobbing his knob and yet NOW you are all like FUG CAM Fuuug Smitty they suck. TRADE. CUT. BENCH. YET Don't complain about what the hell was going on with the Refs!? What's sad is it took Smitty making a statement about it to even hear you guys bring it up?

 

I swear those had to be the replacement refs yesterday and the real refs got drugged raped and kidnapped by the Cardinals the night before because that ish was purely about as unprofessional as I have ever seen since the strike.

The nfl should issue public grades of each game for each Ref....Players are graded how they perform and thats how they get the big money contracts some of these refs should have some accountability.  Players can't complain about them, neither can coaches unless they want to slim their wallets down a little....its ridiculous....Some very bad calls and a handful of no calls but goes a little bit of both ways but some bad ones on smitty....

There were a couple of plays that even the announcers said they didn't see it.   That "push-off" Smitty had is nothing more than a veteran move and considering the physicality of the way the DBs were playing.  That was hardly a foul.

 

No excuses for Smitty dropping the ball, none.   I agree with those that said that but it doesn't excuse some of the poor calls.  We had a few against us in their initial scoring drive were similar plays on us were not called.  How many defensive pass interference calls did Arizona get?   

 

Why not keep mugging us if they aren't going to call it.

You guys sound pathetic......when smith was making ridiculous catches in double coverage everyone loved him now he has ONE bad game in god knows how long and it's Smitty sucks, i'm tired of his mouth, he needs to retire....blah fuggin blah like after every lost grab a pair and man up. Smith still gets separation from cb's no matter the name the difference is we have a guy like Ginn who's getting open more then our number 2 or any wr we've had the last past 3 years just because cam isn't force feeding him to a 100 yards every-game doesn't mean smitty is different from last year it just means more options are open.

I feel relatively confident that if this season keeps going the way it has, Smitty will retire after this season.  He's already said he had enough money, he just wants success.  If we go into full on rebuild mode (again for the 2nd time in 4 years) he probably won't have faith we'll have the team competitive before he can't play any more.  And I wouldn't blame him, it'd be a damn shame if he retires out of a feeling of hopelessness rather than accomplishment.

Sunday was just a bad juju day. Woke up sick, Panthers offense played like poo, almost shat myself at how bad the officiating was, got destroyed in both fantasy leagues and ate too much bacon and threw up a whole pig. This happens every year to me, mark my words, we'll win next week not because I trust Ron "Coaches like sh*t" Rivera, but because it always happens this way.
