The Young Quarterbacks

It is a litle more complicated since the QBs are no playing with the same team against the same teams.

I don't known who has played who off the top of my head, but I do know Cam has played two of the best defenses in the NFL in Zona and Seattle.

His numbers don't suck, they're actually the most well-rounded on the list along with Cam.

So right back at you: why single out Luck anyways?  Why not go after RG3 or Kaepernick?  They're the real turds out of that group.

For all the hype they put on Luck, the Colts offense should be mostly about him and it's not. Heck, they gave up their 1st round pick more so to take the ball out of Luck's hand. That says a lot being that this is a passing league. If Luck were any good they'd be thinking of picking up Wayne's replacement in the draft. As for RG3, they use him to hide the deficiency of their OL. Their OL couldn't even block 3rd stringers on pass plays. Being of an ACL surgery just 9 months ago, this is a red-shirt year for him. At least he has an excuse. As for Kaepernick, he was drafted in the 2nd round an no one knew much about him and he was never anointed the greatest QB ever before he step foot in the NFL. Luck was. Anything Kaepernick is icing on the cake. He can fail but no one can call him a bust. And that 49ers offense is built to make a run in the playoffs where they won't restrict Kaepernick's running ability as much. They're just preserving him. Put Kaepernick in an offense with King Krab(crabtree) and Maningham back together with Vernon Davis and Boldin, there will be problem. Where Kaepernick is at stats doesn't matter because they'll make the playoffs anyway even without him. But they need the Kaepernick edge in the playoffs to make team look silly defending him. Andrew Luck doesn't give his team any edge just plain dink & dunk boredom and get bounce out in the 1st round. Luck is there just not to screw up. Nothing explosive or dynamic about him.

Its about wins. I know he doesn't have full control over that and others are responsible but unfortunately that's the way QBs are measured. He has to start winning games. Hopefully last week and the next few weeks are a spring board.

So all teams are equal, just the QBs are different?

Is this like those old IROC car races wher, to determine the best driver, they would give all the individual drivers identical cars with identical set-ups?

I think it has to do with a few things. The thing at auburn, the size of our market, and Cam's polarizing affect (effect?) on others.

The wizards of smart dubbed cam as a guy that could only run and not read defenses. They don't like to admit when they're wrong out of pride.. Cam has a ways to go before he's elite but I think any objective fan can see he has the potential. Kapernick has a monster line and Jim Harbaugh who might be the best QB coach ever. Luck had harbaugh and he's a hell of a QB that makes good reads and smart decisions. Wilson is very elusive , smart, and has a really good line. RG111 is undersized for the game he plays but shanahan is also a good QB coach.

Now that they all have tape, defenses have begun to tackle each QB's weaknesses. When it's all said and done I think only luck and Wilson will have long careers.

As for cam, get him a coach or OC that are dynamic, an o line that is solid and some sure fire weapons, and he will be just as good and successful as luck and Wilson.
