Cap and trade hardy for a 3rd at worse

1st- Calvin Pryor: finally get our stud center fielder

2nd- Best WR available, someone will fall

Hardy pick (2nd or 3rd)- CJ Fiedorowicz: good blocking TE who can catch as well

3rd: Baptiste- big athletic corner

4th: Kareem Martin

5th: Andre Williams

I like Watkins but he won't be there at 28 and we won't trade far enough up to get him (the cost of moving that far up would be insane). I like Benjamin too, but I'm not sure he'll be there at 28 either although we might be able to move far enough up to get him if he falls into the 20's without selling the farm.

I'm all about BPA in the first, regardless of position (other than MLB, QB or C.)...really depends on who is there according to the staff's assessments.

All the Staff has to do is to work out WRs with Cam actually throwing to them. If they can't hold on to his bullets, it makes things really easy on the FO as to who will or will not cut it. We are left to speculate.

As for my "ideal pick?" I'm really hoping Justin Gilbert's name is still available. 2nd choice is Ebron. 3rd is Watkins. 4th is Lewan and after that? I'm trusting in the FO to do their work.

It's interesting that you want to draft a QB or MLB if he's there at #28

    • I would say that seems like an odd comment from Morgan, but at the same time it's almost impossible to find a college QB declaring for the draft to have less physical ability than BY so you can assume almost anyone you bring in would be your go to QB sneak/designed run guy.
    • Gronk is the best TE of all time, but he also played with Brady. Clarke was great, but had Peyton and in an era TE's didn't make crazy money. Kittle is great, but the two times he's made the SB, he was still on his rookie contract for one, and the other the 49ers had Purdy on a cheap rookie deal which help them build the rest of the roster. So again, it's not about not wanting an elite TE, of course it would be nice.  But realistically, in today's NFL, unless that elite TE with a top end TE salary is on a team with a GOAT level QB and/or other serious cap savings (i.e. key players on rookie deals), then I think it's not a good use of cap space.
    • This place was the poo pre tepper with tons of hilarious posters like phillyB. Joined in the 2000s during the 07 season and have been here bitching about this team since. but yeah its sadly been dying a slow death, every time I come to this site I am surprised its still up. I think the 2015 season was the absolute peak, the Panthers and this board especially just haven't "felt" the same since then. Igo should really sell the board since he clearly doesn't care anymore. Also, Reddit blows and the Bryce defenders on there need Jesus.
