A 15 point game can become a 7 point game with one bad play. Like him or hate him, he really is in to the numbers behind the game. He isn't going to take what the numbers show to be unnecessary risks late in games. It has cost us games before, it didn't this week.

A 15 pt lead with a full qtr to go, is nothing in the NFL. And Rivera's a dumb ass to change his offense with so much time. So what you make a mistake. You can't play scared in the NFL and expect to win. That is why Rivera's been such a loser during his career so far. Every little lead he gets, he's quick to run the clock out.

1-1 last year, but definitely the first time at 500 after the month of September.

The Panthers are growing as a team. That is easy to see. Every win cannot be pretty. Every win cannot be Offensive. It's good to see the game is pretty even. Offense is keeping the game out of the Rams' reach with Fieldgoals and TDs and Defense is stopping the Rams' drive. That says to me this team is slowly but surely growing as a more rounded team. Learning how to win ugly is good also. This isn't Fantasy football.
