Janoris Jenkins was talking about Steve Smith's wife.

Cool to rip Janoris and maybe he crossed the line, but hilarious that nobody bringing up that Smith should have been tossed in the melee where Long went, and then he taunted Janoris and no call, and swung on him.   At least try to be a little fair in your assessment - Smith has had a temper and been biggest trash talker in league for years.  Kind of funny he gets mad when someone talks trash to him.   You beat us fair and square.  Be happy about that.

You are defending a gy who a few years ago attacked his own team mate.  C'mon guys.

You never bring a players family into a game. You can talk all the poo you want. But when you bring the man's wife into the discussion, well he's lucky he's walking away to be honest. That's a simple and well known unwritten rule of the game.

This has long been part of Steve smith's game. Getting into the head of other players. Did it for years to Deangelo Hall. Don't like it? Stop him.

I totally get it, but how do you know Smith has never done this??  I agree we were horribly undisciplined today, but I just can't understand everyone making him out to be some victim.   And c'mon it isn't like he dominated today 69 yard and a td.  Our drop happy 2nd round pick had more yards and our rookie wouuld have too without the penalty.   I like Smith and he is on my fantasy team, but he isn't Superman anymore like he acts.

DirtyMagic will be here soon to explain why this is Cam's fault and how we should trade for Jenkins

DirtyMagic really likes Cam Newton and has known Jenkins is a terrible human for a long time. Our roster was filled with them during Meyer's tenure. Thanks for the shout out though.

And I'd urge you to find any time I've ever said we should trade for anyone at all.

    • damn I wish somebody would sign him. This has been going on for weeks.    I think if the team wanted to sign him we probably would have heard something about interest on our part.    Or any TE. It looks like they have set that room. And we have taken guys two years running, a guy like this would be blocking them. We need to see if they have it or not. And we should see if Tremble is gonna ever do anything.      In general, with the TEs
    • Dude, there aren’t rose colored glasses big enough for you to call this “not a bad draft.” BC was not a good pick. He was taken with the 6th pick in round 3 and he’s been a backup OL. Tremble also wasn’t a win. Another 3rd rounder who’s easily replaced. Only reason either of them started games is because of injuries or a lack of a better starter. Chuba’s got heart but he’s had one solid year behind a solid run blocking unit. Other than that he’s underwhelmed and like we saw with Dowdle and Foreman, it’s not hard to find cheap pickups who perform as well. Horn has been a good starter but honestly that draft had so many solid starters we could have taken. With as many picks as we had, him and Chuba is absolutely a bad draft. We needed OL and BC and Brown was a terrible effort. You clearly didn’t watch the Senior Bowl if you thought Brown had a chance in the NFL. The huddle draft folks wanted Humphrey and Smith and instead we got crap and Mahomes was the winner.
