Do you trust Graham Gano?

Awesomeness!!

Recommended Posts

the Drunk posting has begun. Anyway, I feel as thought he did something last year that pissed everybody off, but I can't remember what it was. He is like 9/9 this year, but after Mare stunk up the place for a year I think I would have a heart attack if a game came down to a last second FG (Which is Guaranteed to happen one of these days) So..do you trust him?

And here..

TBH, I don't trust any kicker. None of them are going to make all of them.

I look at it more like building up equity. Gano has built up a certain amount of equity as a Panther.  He has a certain amount of passes.

I know one thing: I feel a certain amount of security when he throws that arm up and measures that kick off. I wonder if he was doing that before he got cut by the Deadskins, or has that been something he incorporated to improve his mechanics.

    • The panthers are such a trash organization at this point that all the huddle can do is argue about which panthers team is historically the worst…good times.
    • Well, hope they're not worried about a torn Labrum or Rotator Cuff, as someone who went through that myself, I know those don't have anything show up on X-Rays but from the MRI, so this is kinda a nothing update, hope it's not a tear or his season is already over if they decide to do surgery now. Which is basically what would be needed to get him to 100% for the start of next season's training camp if it's a labrum.  If he plays the season with it and then does surgery, he's not going to be ready for camp and probably not the start of the season either.
    • I always try to not pay much attention to a team’s preseason win/loss record. The 1982 Washington and 2021 LA Rams both lost every game in the preseason and went on to win the Super Bowl, whereas the 2008 Detroit Lions and 2017 Cleveland Browns both won every game in reason and went on to lose every regular season game. There’s many examples of teams that lose in preseason that go on to have good seasons, but equally there are teams that lose in preseason and that continues in the regular season. Which will we be?  I think our floor is a handful of wins, while our ceiling will probably be around the 9-10 win mark. The latter will require significant improvement from the whole team and coaching staff, and will also need Bryce to play like the QB we drafted him to be. I want to be optimistic and predict a winning season, but it’s really difficult as a Panthers fan!
