I'm glad I got to witness Jake pounding that drum in person today.  From my vantage point, I couldn't tell if he was interacting with any players, but glad to see he and Smitty connect.

I think what makes this so emotional is the memories it brings back. Hopefully we're now on our way to beginning a new era of winning... but the good times of the mid-2000s will always hold a special place in my heart. I love Jake and I still to this day get mad at anyone who tries to trash him.
