Early Vegas Line CAR @ SF

A little high IMO but whatever, a one score game says Vegas. FWIW, we were favored @Buffalo and @Arizona, and were underdogs to the Giants and @Minnesota. We have obviously blistered the spread the last 4 weeks. I wouldn't bet either way, but especially against us.

I love the Panthers but i'd be shocked if we come within a touchdown. This is a bad matchup for us, and San Fran is putting people away in the first half lately whereas we can only turn it on after halftime. I think it will be a 23-10 type game

Other than the packers which was their first game who have the 49ers beat? They've lost against the colts and the seahawks(which we were a deangelo fumble away from being beating by us).

These are the teams they have beaten

St.Louis(3-6)

Houston(2-6)

Arizona(4-4)

Titans(4-4)

Jacksonville(0-8)

This doesn't scare me and it shouldn't scare anyone on this forum. Are the niners a good team? Yes, but so are the panthers. We match up very well and the panthers can definitely get the win this upcoming sunday.

It's going to be a tough game, but SF doesn't scare me.  I think we match up pretty well against them.  The teams that worry me are the teams with surgeon QBs and we face three on the back half of our schedule - the Saints (x2) and the Pats.  Those are the games that worry me the most.  Brees and Brady are going to carve us up if we can't bring some serious pressure.

Looking at our remaining schedule, I see 4 must win games - the Dolphins, Bucs, Jets, and Falcons.  We simply cannot afford to lose any of those games.  We have to win the games we're supposed to win.  I'd be happy to split the remaining 4.  We do that and we end up 11-5 and are virtually guaranteed a playoff berth.

    • On the surface all variables to be considered aside obviously I would love to have him. Situationally though this compares to when we acquired Stephon Gilmore. Ramsey will be 31 this fall and Gilmore was 31 when we acquired him. Ultimately it was a moot point because we weren't ready to compete for anything of note and Gilmore went elsewhere. Ultimately I see this playing out the same. As such I cannot envision any scenario where he does not go to a legit playoff contender.
    • Below average? Seriously?? That is wild AF My man we ain't watching the same game... And I'm hard-pressed to believe you're watching the same film coaches are either if that is the take you honestly believe... I've been to almost every home game at BOA over the past 20 years... I've seen a lot of bad QB play over the past 7 years. Anybody that wasn't truly impressed by what Bryce did what the cast-offs he had to work with at the end of last year is delusional. His top 3 weapons were a 34 undrafted guy, a 7th round journeyman, and an UDFA rookie... seriously, what are we doing here??!! Some of these takes are beyond outlandish... You admitted yourself you're comparing Bryce to a guy you didn't even watch but are cherry picking stats for... So go back to your eyeballs and make it simple... how much NFL football have you watched my man?? Bc to me and my eyeball test, Bryce blew it out of the effing water down the stretch. What QBs are you watching playing so much better than him that you feel confident in saying "below average?" If you watched that and came away with anything else, we ain't watching the same thing... But beyond the eyeball test, every advanced metric in the book backs it up also... so again, what are you seeing that no one else is?? You think just anybody is going out there and dueling with Mahomes & Hurts with an almost comical inferior supporting cast and doing that? Whatever, to each their own, but it is wild to pull for a team where so many people feel compelled to crap on your QB after he just pulled maybe the greatest in-season turn around in league history and was playing by any eyeball test (for anyone that has watched an appreciable amount of NFL football) or even the advanced metrics for that matter.
    • You don't talk about TMac's QB that way!
