So, according to PFF Kuechly is struggling

Luke is fine. Hard to rack up on tackles when your DLine are making stops. I like how we are dominating as a team. They say defense wins championships and they are all player well. it is not about individual stats. It is about how we play as a unit and we are just getting better. As for Luke, I will still take him over anyone else at the Mike

Teams may be game planning against Luke but he's the general on the field and ever since he's been the general on the field the defense has tightened up and is as good as it has been in years. He's a better MLB than Beason just because of his ability to read the offense so well and make sure his cohorts are in the right spot. We were never a shutdown defense with Beason.

Do other fan boards start threads on how badly their best players are playing according to PFF when that player, that defense, that team has been destroying teams for weeks on-end?

Who cares what other boards do? Is that supposed to validate how we are supposed to post on the huddle?

So you basically want the huddle to be an all homer board with no sort of perspective, even from a well respected nfl statistical website like PFF?

And again, Luke's play has dropped off a a bit and the D is still dominating. Most people would see that as a good thing but you are too focused on being a homer and being overly sensitive, kinda like a poor man who suddenly became rich and is always worried about being poor again.

Kuechly is getting help--plain and simple.

Steve smith on the Radio about Star: (Basically) He is dominating and he has not learned the (NFL) position yet.  He is using his athleticism.  Smith seemed in awe of Star---

---we got the best player in the draft.

By the way, the Tackle the Chiefs took first overall is struggling.

Jon Beason was "Struggling" When he was here earlier this season.

Kuchley is doing just fine. That TD to Gonzo had a WR on a stop route which froze Luke for a half second and Ryan threw a dart to Gonzo so high I am not sure Luke could have gotten to it anyway in a chase position.

I see Luke attack run gaps to where the rb runs elsewhere. He does well in coverage where we are in a lot of nickle sets. Watching Chase Blackburn in the game shows how athletic Luke is and how much of an upgrade he is.

Said it elsewhere: that wasn't Luke's fault. Mikell was supposed to be bracketing Gonzo high, but he went off the grid.

Now, in the run game, Luke has been having issues getting off blocks. One of Jackson's big runs that got Atlanta off the goal line came from Luke getting manhandled. It's something he still has to work on.

For real. I was cussing Mikel pretty bad on the play. He looked lost almost, caught in two minds. You'd expect a vet to know it was going to Gonzo and stay deep middle, for some reason he wandered off to the left. Luke had great coverage on Gonzo for the first pick.

However, its telling that Davis and Keek are our two leading tacklers and we have the #2 ranked D rather than having a safety or CB as our leading tacklers like say the Falcons. It means were getting teams off the field quicker, forcing more 3 and outs.

Finally conceding our first TD in the first half just yesterday is outstanding.

Gonzo burnt the poo out of him in on that TD. Not that it wouldnt happen to many others, but still, he had a very good day against imo and that should impact Luke.

I'm so tired of this. He didn't get burned. Him and TD took the underneath route when he should've taken Gonzo. Ryan looked him off to attack Douglas and Luke bit. Ryan beat him, not Gonzalez.

haha ok, tired guy. That was Luke's assignment, period. He was supposed ot have help over the top but thats not the end all to be all for Mikell to be there. That was Luke's man.

Youre tired of it? lol, my dick wants to laugh.

. . .  little babies should go to bed when theyre tired.

I took a buddy to the game who is a casual NFL fan. He didn't know who Kuechly was.

Instead of trying to explain, I just said, watch #59. He will be involved in every play.

He got it.

Plus the LUUUUUKKKKEEEEE cheers reinforced it

Im guessing you werent wearing the 59 that day then. Keek was in the laundry?

Lol I was...that was the whole impetus. When we got in the car he asked "who is Kooklee"

Hahaha, wow though, his name has been gettin thrown out a lot. You did him a solid by bringing him up to speed even if he wasnt a Panthers fan. Maybe now he will be a stronger one? We'll take em.
