this morning on mike and mike's true or false game the question "True or False? the Carolina Panthers will open everyones eyes up by going in and winning in san francisco." was asked.  Golic responds "The Panthers are the flavor of the month i'd say on that 4 game winning streak and i love the physicality they've played with throughout that stretch, but i say they lose in San Francisco." Mark Shlereth says "I think they lose in San Francisco although I like the way Carolina has been playing, last week you saw Cam Newton struggle throwing the ball again and although they still found a way to win, theyll have a much harder time doing that to san francisco"

I find it weird how the media can praise the panthers then say they aren't good enough to compete with san fran...

While Cam did have his best game I think it's ignorant to say he struggled throwing the football. He had a bad first half to that game and as a result the score was only 14-10. We still won 34-10 so it's not like he struggled and we struggled to win.

San Francisco is a good team. I think we are a better team tho and this comes down to coaching and turnovers. Who ever has the better game plan and doesn't turn the ball over will win

Noooo I like being under the radar....

I don't.  You don't fear teams that are under the radar.  You fear teams that have a winning tradition year after year.  There is no under the radar when your a successful franchise built on the foundation of winning.

    • I think that depends more on how high our pick is. If we have the 1st, 2nd or even 3rd pick i think we are drafting a QB rather than shopping FA market for a QB1. Curious if we’d be reluctant to start a rookie QB week 1 though.
    • Hurney 2.0 and Fitts were so bad I don't know if it was intentional or they were that abysmally clueless. Fittershits panicked repeatedly being on the back end of positional runs while Hurney couldn't evaluate anyone outside of the 1st.  I can't figure out why Plummer still has a jersey. There's no reason. Dalton brings nothing to the table. If another QB gets cut that has given a glimmer of anything better than what we have, we should look, and that goes for every position.  I cant get over how much different this team could have been with a competent GM and having accepted the Rams offer for Burns. This franchise could have gone in a totally different direction.
    • I thought tanking wasn't actually a thing and we were firmly against it though?
