What I loved the most about this game? We physically kicked the ass of a team known to be tough.

 

That bodes very well for us going forward.

But...but...VD was out...aw hellz, we win.

 

 

How about this A.J. Klein kid huh?.....I said when we drafted him that he might turn out to be a real gem......Another rock solid linebacker in our NEAR future!!

Don't let Growl read this, he still mad we traded Beast. No way a 5th rounder can replace Beast. Wait...we not only get Klein, but a 7th as well...

 

 

And your sad quest for validation is annoying.

Overrated. Bad QB. Not playoff bound.

Do you really think that playing a guy who was DT in training camp, then an OT, that was rushed into playing RG against the best front seven in the NFL second best front 7 in the NFL doesn't have any effect on the game?  we only have two legit O-lineman on our entire roster

 

If we didn't have a bunch of castoffs and UDFAs playing O-line this game would have gone even worse for you than it did

Yeah, it's not like injuries have any effect on an NFL game. Not gonna' lie. Chandler played his azz off.

We beat them up, just like a lot of teams lately. Oops. I guess maybe we only won.

What...6-3 after that 1-3 start. And you tell me Rivera is still Coach? Who'd a thunk it?

Hats off to the Panthers today they clearly were the better team today. Your pash rush destroyed our oline. Both teams played a great defensive game and I think the difference was the hunter fumble. Was def a fun game to watch and think either of these two teams could make run in the playoffs this year. Also would like to point out Tolbert after the Reid injury. Guy is a class act. I love to see that kind of respect for another player during a hard fought game.

If he's that much a factor, why don't he score a TD when he's on the field? If I remember correct, you guys kicked 3 FG when your dear Vernon was not hurt yet.

I don't want to make excuses so I'm sorry if it comes across that way, but y'all only won because Vernon Davis was hurt. I'm not gonna make any excuses, but that was the reason. Again, great win and you played great, but it was because Vernon Davis was out. So good win*.

We have three, gross Wharton and Kalil... Although fua could blossom into a hall of famer one day

      After watching Dan for 3 yrs now, I think I understand his plan. It’s a simple plan that should work for the long run.     I saw some of this last yr. Dan wants a vet and a young player at each position. I really think we go OT if one they like there. Moton is aging, Icky will not be back until 27, if ever. We need to get ahead of the tackle problem

      You are just stressing too much about these particular positions. You want to upgrade from Bryce and I understand that but you aren’t going to really get that without getting into a bidding war for a QB2 potential QB1 like Willis. You could possibly trade for Mills or the backup for Chicago but they are still gambles and their teams will won’t decent picks.  Again the Eagles thought KP was a capable enough backup to trade for him once their backup was hurt and won a Super Bowl with him as QB2. The point is most teams aren’t rolling with some stud QB2/3 that is going to push even a bottom tier starter. They are better off the building their roster in other areas. The Rams are rolling with Bennett right now as QB2 for example.  The goal is winning absolutely. We overachieved last year even with stumbling into the playoffs. Another year and this staff needs to take the next step in building a team. Will Grier has little to no impact on that….

      Three straight first round WRs is straight up Matt Millen poo. Considering the draft capital we have tied up on Bryce after that trade we would basically have spent damn near all of our draft capital in recent years on QB and WR just to put one of the most anemic passing offenses in the league on the field. Clown show poo.
