Where is our run game?

With the loaded backfield we got, we should have the most dominating run game in the league.  It's kind of disappointing that we don't, but we all know what the problem is.  Yet with all that said, we can run the ball effectiviely, we are just not dominating.

One has to wonder how 3rd string backs come in and are immediately effective. Offensive lines and blocking schemes help.

The O-line is a big issue. They generate little to no push. Tolbert, Williams, and Stew have defenders around their legs before they reach the line of scrimmage. We need to address this in free agency and the draft. We need road graders in a bad way. Literally every run play on 1st down leads to a 2nd& 7.

The summary of the last week is like this IMO.

-San Fran is a very tough D that is hard to run on, and we were playing a very physical game. Credit to their D.

-Patriots, we had a hard time stopping Brady, so we had to throw the ball a lot in a kind of shootout with him.

-Miami has a decent D-line and they had us in a two score hole in the first half. We had to throw it a little bit in order to catch back up. Honestly, I thought our run game was ok in the second half. We established the run on the first drive of the second half, and if you add in Cams runs, we had over 100 yards. Also we were able to run the ball when we needed too, which is more important than just plain stats.

I really like that last comment but I swear I heard the announcer from the game today say the same thing. No offense just an observation
