Not giving up on HFA = rooting for taints?

Fug it, fug the Aints.

I'm rooting against the Aints Monday Night, HFA be damned.

Let's make the Playoffs first, preferably beating the Aints twice and being NFC South Champs.

Then take care of our business week 2 of the Playoffs and then hope the Hawks are beaten that same weak.

No way I'm rooting for New Orleans Week 13.

The Mole can lick my balls.

I see the logic behind the OP, but the way I see it, I just want chinks in the saints' armor.  We have them next week, on a short week for them flying back from Seattle.  If they get decimated and demoralized on MNF, that would get us closer to getting control of this division.

You know we all want to see Drew Brees throw about three picks Monday night, and see if his neck can stretch another two feet.  We thrive on a Saints collapse, we don't benefit from them beating Seattle on the road.

Besides, if Seattle has a home loss coming their way, something they haven't experienced in quite awhile, the fugging Panthers will deliver it in January.

Yeah if there is any team that can go to Seattle and beat them its us, i truly believe that. I actually look forward to that challenge, Seattle is gonna be good for a long time so its not like that scenario is going anywhere anyway. Same thing with the Saints, go to NO and beat them on their own turf and make a statement.

Yeah there's no way in hell I can force myself into wanting the Saints to win.

As others have said, Carolina needs the bye after having such an early regular season week off. IMO the best case scenario at this point is for them to handle business and get the #2 seed, and have Seattle lose in the divisional round. That's best case.

I guess that worse case is folding and missing the playoffs, obviously, but any other scenario involves road games with no week off. This team has shown the ability to go out and win those tough away games though, so as long as they can score at least a wildcard then I will say that they have a legit shot.

    • Damn back to 10th. I only caught the last 5 minutes but some of those 3's were horrible lol. In that close of game you can't be launching those many hail mary's when you could be chipping away from the foul line. I guess no one wanted to get in the paint and didn't trust the refs to give them the calls maybe? Gonna watch the highlights to get a better idea of the flow of the game
    • I agree.  The Big 12 is a good conference, and he is the swinging dick in that conference.  If Bill Self retires, that sets Kansas back a bit, and Arizona moves even further ahead as the best team in that conference.  Arizona can crush west coast recruiting with USC / UCLA no longer being relevant for LA kids, and Gonzaga not being able to compete moneywise.   If Lloyd comes here, he will be second fiddle to Duke every single year in NIL and recruits.  Not to mention the entire SEC and Big East for kids who want to stay in those regions to play. This is why I keep saying go get Mark Few.  Has proven he can do more with less from an X / O perspective but can also recruit All American players and compete at a high level. He's a god at Gonzaga, but for $9M he'd make the move as that's 4x what he's making at Gonzaga, and makes him the highest paid coach in the country.
    • Certainly not going to miss his constant whiffs on sacks and tackles.
