I'm sitting in the ER was hit by a drunk driver, then tried to run me over.

I'm so thankful that 2 ladies saw this and followed the drunk bitch and got her plate numbers. The officer handling this just called and said that they arrested her. My head, back and neck is killing me. .The officer believes she was doing 60 when she rear ended me. .

Stupid drunk ass drivers should be executed.

I had a similar situation, replace drunk bitch with old senile guy. Two women gave me the license plate and drove away. I fought with the insurance for weeks because the old guy lied about what happened. Luckily we found a number in the 911 transcript for the two ladies. The Police didn't take the time to investigate this, we had to do it ourselves. So the two ladies testified and the insurance company paid me a small settlement, my car was worth more to me than it was to them. It can be a stressful and frustrating process. Hopefully your case is a slam dunk. If I could do it over again I would have hired a lawyer from the start and sought the maximum settlement. I tried to play nice and they walked all over me until they had no other options.

Get a lawyer ASAP, don't wait. It shouldnt cost you anything up front,I believe that they just take a cut of the money they get you after you settle.

Always good to hear there are people willing to help out like that. I was on a jury involving a drunk hit and run where a Good Samaritan saw the hit and followed the drunk guy back to his apartment complex, made it an easy case to judge.
