Tailgating Forbidden at Super Bowl

Pay Per View is coming Mr. Scot, the networks don't make any money on the NFL broadcasts. They aim for a small loss and justify it because they get to spam us with their new fall lineup. I think I know everything there is to know about Almost Human and The headless horsemen.

I realize this ruling is un-American at its core. But in practice it will make very little difference. Do you have any idea what tickets to a New Jersey Super Bowl will go for? The common man you so vehemently defend will not be present at this event. Think about this, Denver and Seattle go to the Super Bowl....each team is allotted a few thousand tickets which they rape the season ticket holders with. Those fans fly across the country and use public transportation. The REAL fans will not being driving to the stadium. The majority of tickets go to sweepstakes and corporate partnerships. The crowd is generally neutral and sober. You don't get thrown out of the Super Bowl when the tickets were given to you by an important client. The number of people interested in tailgating at the stadium is very small.

The Superbowl is about house parties. When the NFL tries to prohibit our get togethers then it's time to revolt.

embarrassing really!

guess the good thing is that the league has priced these tickets beyond the reach of most average football fans and the corporate fugs wouldn't know a tailgate if it slammed them in the face, so no big loss to anyone.  No tailgate means more limo parking.

Remember the dreaded Stripper shortage of 11'? All those retired strippers had to come out of retirement for the good of America.

Yeah no one with half a brain is going into the football league business. All these changes the NFL has made are in an effort to preserve the game. They have tapped out the US market so they are constantly looking for new revenue streams to match growing player wages. Eventually society will sour to the violence and life long injuries. Kids won't play rec ball and other sports will kill football off. Every decision Goodell makes is to preserve the game.

    • Honestly, I have only one pair of white shoes (only because they were new and like $4 from the Goodwill) other than my easily-cleaned Crocs. A man's got to think ahead.
    • Down to Carolina and Washington for Ehlers.
    • Who are your top three breakout candidates for next season?    My three: Jatavion Sanders- Simply put he is the best receiving TE we have had since Olsen. We all saw his potential over that three game stretch prior to his neck injury where he showed a real connection with Bryce. Good route runner with glue for hands, limited blocking upside but he gives solid effort. With Tremble already being hurt I don’t see a reason why he already isn’t our starter and clear future at TE. Trevin Wallace- For a developmental LB forced into a starting role last year he  exceeded expectations. LB is one of the hardest positions to adjust to from college, and for a prospect who was widely regarded as very raw, surprisingly he was solid in coverage and only had an 11.9% missed tackle rate. He was overly aggressive consistently, and needs to work on his play recognition. But he is set up to be our best LB next season, and likely starter for years ahead. Even barring reaching his upside, his floor was clearly a lot higher than draft pundits assumed(Morgan can scout LBS). Cade Mayes- I am hopeful Cade wins the starting job at C this season. He may have been our most improved player last season, he looked like an above average starting C after he took over for an injured Corbett. He allowed 0 sacks on 327 pass block snaps. Corbett can not stay healthy, and at this stage in his career Mayes is objectively the better player. Mayes is only 26 and gives us the potential of stability at C, something we have never had since Ryan Kalil retired. Corbett slots in as a great backup C/Guard, and Cade continues to develop and gain more chemistry with Bryce and our stud duo of Hunt/Lewis.
