Watch the Rams game and you will see how they beat them down.Exactly what WE didn't do last game.Bury Brees and keep him shaky.keep the ball out of his hands and run the ball down their throats.Rams beat them in their dome, so no excuses about indoors or out. This is how we beat them and gain first place.

Seems about like what literally hundreds were saying we needed to do last game, yet we didnt. Everyone here agreed with said analysis, but just because we know what we need to do doesnt mean we will do.

This game will bwe different of course, as we are now tied AGAIN, and at home. That said, such things are easier said than done. Lets hope we learned a lesson from the past game, and can rattle that fool.

I completely agree...but isn't that how you beat any team?

I get it, though. You're amped to see us do that to the Saints and so am I. I know our guys can do it and I can't wait to see it.

I think Carolinas DL needs to put their hands up more.  Brees isnt the tallest qb in the league.  Simply putting your hands up in the passing lane will block his line of sight and disrupt his passes.  he will throw less quick pass and more floaters making it easier to intercept.  Do not over penetrate and let him step up and throw over the top.

That's what we TRIED to do, we just didn't pull it off and settled for 3's.

I do expect an entirely different outcome this Sunday away from the pansy dome.

Yep, the offense has to score TD's and not settle for FGs.

The D line has to figure out how to get in Brees face because if they can, the coverage won't matter as much...  we're not going to magically have a great cover D all of a sudden.

    • Yeah they were bad QBs - but QB's that stayed on their teams for several years.  BY is better than all of those.
    • This is the right move even if you think Bryce isn't the future. Everything except signing him to a long term deal until proven otherwise. There's a decent chance we have a shot to draft a QB next year that we like.
    • If we're still bad enough that Canales gets fired, especially if it's during the season, there is no way we could ever attract any HC worthy of the job if we told them they had to keep Bryce their first year. That would be 2 coaches he's gotten fired and 4 years of not performing up to par. I still say replace both of them next offseason.  I like Canales the man and I think he's done an absolutely outstanding job at fixing our locker room issues, as it was really bad before he showed up.  But I just don't see it from him with his in game decision making, I think he's held us back just as much as Bryce has, just in different ways. Canales was our Dan Campbell, the coach you hire to turn the franchises culture around for the HC after them to inherit and take to the next level.   The difference was he had some elite coordinators early on and really let him focus on his "leader of men" role as opposed to the X's and O's that Canales does himself and it's turned out well for him.
