Crowd Noise at BOA

Moose Hoover

Recommended Posts

We can all agree that it will be important to make as much noise as we can while the saints are on offense...what are some of the practical ways we can accomplish this?

For instance I saw the idea somewhere to buy a regular soda, dump the drink out and tear out the bottom to make a megaphone. Rivera even mentioned the Defense Defense Defense chant.

I plan on riling up my section (541) and I thought it might be beneficial for us to share our ideas and strategy for making as much noise as possible. It becomes even more important that we are loud from the huddle through the play since there will be at least one rookie o lineman out there in T Armstead.

P.S. i'm even thinking of trying to learn to whistle with my fingers in the next three days.

Our crowd won't be loud enough to confuse Brees but we can still give the defense energy.

It's not so much trying to confuse Brees, it's more about making sure his teammates can't hear him clearly. He's the qb he's going to know what he wants, but if his lineman can't hear a protection, or a wr can't hear a route, it makes a difference. I definitely think BOA is capable of that.

Here's the problem with threads like these: You're preaching to the choir. Huddlers know exactly how to get loud. Unfortunately, Huddlers do not make up anywhere close to the majority of people at Panthers home games. Until you can get the bankers motivated to get loud, things won't change. And it's not like we're doing a bad job at home, are we not currently 6-1 there this year?

I'm just wondering if we coordinate some things we could maximize our effectiveness and motivate the quiet ones.

Mass hysteria...it's been proven to be contagious. Shame the quiet ones into a frenzy!

Yep ... however, Brees is one of those quarterbacks that gets flustered when forced out of his rhythm.  Seattle brought pressure AND made it difficult for him at the line of scrimmage.  We can help with the latter.

Bad weather helps as well but that is not working out for us this time.

    • This post was an error. Oops and sorry for the errors in the previous one. Too slow to edit.   We’ll see what they do.
    • I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
    • At least we have Mike Kay and his little buddy sidekick whoever to put you to sleep when suffering from insomnia. They're all useless unfortunately.
