TV series I have seen all the way through, suggest some other good ones please.

I will have a lot of time to watch TV series in the near future, here is the series's I've finished so far:

Up to date on: Homeland, Walking Dead, American Horror Story Coven, Defiance, The Bridge, Under the Dome, Graceland.

Seen of all: Dexter, Oz, The Wire, Breaking Bad, the 4400, Jericho,

On my to watch list is: Falling Skies, Sons of Anarchy, The Shield, Justified.

What are some other really good ones I have not seen or started on?

I see no one has suggested Mad Men.

Is it as boring as it looks?

Mad Men is crazy addicting.  It looks and sounds boring but the writing is good and character development hooked me.

 

How is Defiance?  I haven't seen it since the first ep or two

Defiance is actually very good, has good plot turns, not very predictable, and original.

Also on Mad Men: It is an *incredible* period piece.

 

And speaking of period pieces, if you like them, Downton Abbey (at least up to S3) is a good drama.  

 

However, based on your likes, neither show may be for you.  Mad Men might be, though.  I'd say check out a couple episodes and see if you like it.
