there were like 2 posters in the gameday thread, if that, calling for his benching.  let's not make this into a bigger thing than it was.  they were probably the same dudes that are in there any week he isn't having a career day, so meh

 

but a lot of us were doubting the offense had it in it... I thought the loss of Smitty was too much to overcome in a scenario like that.  glad I was wrong

People weren't crazy to criticize Cam today.  He made some bad throws, held the ball way too long on others.   I know the line is terrible, the playcalling is meh, and he apparently was a little hurt, but you have to hit wide open receivers, that is what the great QBs do.   I don't know who has told him to not run, but they need to shut up, if he's healthy he needs to be running 30-40 yards to help this team out.

 

Benching is a bit extreme but to be honest, before that last drive Cam looked like he checked himself out of the game.

      I didn't move the goal posts. But anyone who follows football who wants to engage in a rational discussion can't argue that 10 7th round picks are equal to 10 1st rounders in value. The argument has always been we haven't spent as much on defense has we have on offense. Draft picks have value just like salary. We have not spent the same amount of draft pick salary cap on defense that we have on offense since drafting Bryce. It's not even close. Just the 2 1sts we used on Bryce, 2 overall 1sts have a value of 6000. That doesn’t even factor in DJ Moore or the 2 2nds. Bryce cost more than everything we've spent on defense in 6 damn years.

      We need to hope this scenario plays our next week he fails with pressure…what that means with Evero, is beyond me

      Woukd be a great addition You know the issues from my prespective, 2 things the Panthers must do 1. Edge or pass rushers or 2 oline or 3 oline or as Andy Reid says, when in doubt, draft a lineman it is time   That oline is troubling plus a small person at QB  they   1. Can do a lot better than mayes at center, 2. and lewis has had injuries all season. 3. Moton should not have  been resigned long term, 4. corbett is a shadow and will probably be released  5 and Christianson coming off Achilles   6 and the kicker, would be Ickey’s contract if they decide to keep him INMO rookie and contracts will be needed to offset all that
