Panthers beat the 49ers in a backyard brawl before going into Seattle and dominating the Seahawks.

Awaiting them would be the Patriots. Tom Brady throws three picks, gets sacked six times, verbally quits, and then promptly leaves

Divisional Round: Panthers take it to SF. Win by at least 14. You can almost hear the collective gasp from the media as they watch their already-crowned 49ers go down in flames. Then the media tries to sweep us under the rug and discuss where the 9ers went wrong.

NFC Championship: We travel to Seattle where we have no chance of winning. After a slow first half from both teams, the second half provides serious drama with each team trading late TDs. Ultimately, Cam puts us ahead with less than a minute to go on a beautiful throw to SS89, and Russel Wilson is sacked by Thomas Davis to end the game.

Super Bowl: TBD

Or if you like (for fans of reverse mojo) write out your nightmare scenario, the worst ending you can imagine.

Honestly, there is no nightmare ending possible (outside of injuries).

This season has been one of the best ever for Panther fans, and lord knows we deserved it.  If we are not able to pull off the win Sunday I'll be very disappointed, but I won't hang my head.  This franchise has completely turned around this year, and the future is as bright as ever.

but if I did have to say my nightmare scenario it would be any of these outcomes (worst to least worst)

a) the saints win SB

b  49ers win SB

c) Colts win SB

d) Pats win SB

Understood, but ask a longtime Panther fan about their fondest memories, and everyone mentions "X-Clown".

Wouldn't it be cool to see a moment like that again?

Oh definitely!  I still go back and watch those games at least once a year or so.  But I'm ready for domination and ready to be the bad guy of the NFL.  The media has already labeled  Cam.  Opinions will never change I'm completely fine with that.  I want us to be feared and I want us to be hated.

Panthers score early against the 49ers, with the defense nit allowing the 49ers across mid field most of the game.

24-10 PANTHERS

This is the NFC CHAMPIONSHIP game in Seattle that most people wanted.

Some believe the Panthers can do it, but can't get them to predict us for a win.

An unbelievably physical game, where each teams defense is playing lights out. A fieldgoal fest cept for Cam's lone TD.

13-12 PANTHERS

With the Panthers and Patriots advancing to the Superbowl, many get misty-eyed.

It doesn't last long as the Panthers once again score early, and control the entire game.

Luke breaks the record for tackles and interceptions as the Panthers build a big lead.

As always, Brady leads the Pats in another incredible comeback that ends with Captain pick to secure the game!!

35-30, PANTHERS

I would like to see us just physically dominate San Fran which leaves the entire football world impressed.  Then I would like to go to Seattle and beat them on their home field in a last minute drive that makes Cam a playoff legend.  Then get some much needed revenge on the Patriots in the Super Bowl, also while beating them fair and square this time.  That would be perfect.

My nightmare scenario is coming out flat and getting embarrassed at home again, especially with everyone around hear thinking we should win.  I think a loss this weekend would really damage our buzz right now from the fair weather fans to the media, not that either of those matter but like Riverboat Ron preaches, its all about being relevant.  I've enjoyed just being relevant this year.  I still think we are a year or two away from being dominant provided we hang on to Hardy, surround Cam with some weapons and improve the secondary.

The opposite of the first game this game will be a offensive showcase that goes right down to the end where Cam leads his team on the final drive to victory to advance to the NFC Championship.

We then travel up to Seattle where are offense surprisingly puts on a show and we win by about 2 touchdowns.

Then the unlikely superbowl match up. Carolina vs San Diego. Our defense is able to get to Rivers the entire first half holding them to only 6 points. Yet our offense for some bizarre reason isn't doing as hot as they were previously in the playoffs. At half time its a 10-6 game (panthers on top). Then it starts to click for both teams. Rivers and Cam exchange score for score. Panthers go up 3 with about a minute left and we kick the ball out of...the endzone (Gano is the man). Rivers starts orchestrating a drive. Oh no. Its not looking to hot, they're almost in field goal range. When Rivers goes to throw a screen pass to Matthews and Matthews is slaughtered by T.D and he coughs the ball up and Luke recovers. Cam then comes out in victory formation and brings home the Lombardi.

Then I cry.

I would fondly look back on close wins. However the last few games I've been in a pissed off bad mood almost the entire game. Those aren't fun games while they are happening. I'd like to win convincingly just so I can enjoy it more at the moment. I don't know if my fiance can handle another close game...
