Florio is a fuging idiot, let's be honest. He's football dumb. All he knows is legal bullshit.

 

He can't even write an article without spelling errors or accuracy problems, like most of that site. It's like they don't even proofread over there. They just write the article and post it to the site.

Just said he is not yet a "franchise QB" in his opinion because he hasn't won yet in the playoffs. Said two things make a franchise QB, how much they are paid and how much they win in the post season.

This...and before people get their panties all wadded up he wasn't implying that Cam won't be a franchise QB. Like SCP said, he said the term franchise QB is very subjective. You can earn the right of being a franchise QB by winning games in the playoffs and carrying your team on a consistant basis or you can be given the franchise QB label by a team investing a ton of money and years into your contract.

 

He brought up Stafford as an example....doesn't carry his team into the playoffs but he is Detroit's "Franchise QB' because they paid him like one.

 

Made sense to me.

 

He also agreed that the Panthers got screwed by many of the calls and non calls by the refs on Sunday.

 

Florio does come off as an arrogant ass at times which will rub some people the wrong way (doesn't phase me) but I always look forward to his segment because whether you like his opinion or not, he usually knows his stuff and I end up learning something new most times he is on.
