J Stew tweets he's heading to Beech Mountain

Assuming he's going to ski. Now, personally I don't care. But for an oft injured back that will kill our salary cap over the next few years, aren't you saying slow the fug down if you're the Panthers? If I had that kind of money invested in a back that just missed 90% of the season I'd question his decision making if he put on a pair of skis.

Here is the tweet

@Jonathanstewar1: Anyone live in Boone NC made a stop at Cracker Barrel to eat on my way to beech mountain!

I heard Cam Newton was maybe in a grocery store containing an aisle with a wet floor...

Beech Mt. is nice but Sugar Mt. is better. Hawks Nest has the most difficult course and App Ski Mt is a joke.

Odds of Stewart getting injured during trip: 9/10

Hawks Nest closed their ski slopes.  They only have snow tubing now, but it's pretty fun.  Oh, and zip lines.  The old lift towers are still there and you can tell where the slopes were.  My son used to get to ski free at Appalachian Ski Mountain because he had snow skiing for PE (while at App State).  Free was good for him.

Ok, I'm going to say something here that may cause controversy, but it's the truth and I make NO apologies.

I LOVE Cracker Barrel. Country fried steak, fried okra, green beans, pintos with the biscuit AND cornbread. Their thick strips of perfectly smoked bacon with eggs, grits and a pancake. Their tea is consistently good and I never have any service issues.

There it is, I said it.

Damn, I didn't know Hawks Nest closed. I used to work there back in 02 when I got into App. St. I spent the last few years working in Texas so it's been a while since I've hit the slopes.

I worked App. Ski Mt., too. It's actually the perfect area for beginners but a terrible place to work.

Hawks Nest has been out of business for years.

I'm hoping he's just going snow tubing or taking in the scenery.

Edit: I see GTG has already mentioned this. Disregard.
